The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for going to VA Hospital/Medical Center. Unfortunately, the beds are AWFUL! They are very old and in need of replacement. Also, the "full breakfast" leaves a lot to be desired.Rooms: The ADA accessible bathroom is nice and clean. It is large enough to navigate easily with a wheelchair. A shower chair is provided. Also, it has lots of counter space.Food & drinks: The "full breakfast" is not appetizing. However, there is a Mexican restaurant connected to the motel. The food at the restaurant was tasty and moderately priced.Noteworthy details: It is about half a mile away from the Bob Stump Veterans Hospital.

We like it here. Comfortable & quiet. I love the full breakfast & coffee in the am. Seemed friendly. First time here. Centrally located. We will come back.Rooms: The rooms were comfortable. No issues.Nearby activities: We seen a a car show near by in an outdoor mall parking lot. Spent two hours walking around. Also, a flea market near by and lots of old & unique stuff. Coffee shops & donut shop near by...Safety: It seemed safe, in 3 days we didn't see any odd people. Just the employees doing there work passing by all the rooms.Walkability: Walk ability is good, around the hotel, nice neighborhood in the rear.Food & drinks: Food & drinks, close by. Less than a mile. Slightly hilly. Starbucks included.Free coffee at front desk was a plus. I was craving a cup in the evening. TY.

Selected for pet friendly policy. Room fine, location and general services fine, road noise and other disturbances not a problem. Morning Breakfast service was poor items were not refreshed. Juice dispenser out, water on three juice taps, yogurt dispenser out, bacon out, two sausage pieces left, gravy scraping the bottom. Granted we got there at 8:30am for a 6-9am breakfast. Other than the poor refresh on later breakfast this was a good stay.

I'm a bit of an eccentric old lady who likes to hike with my dogs ( who are quiet and well-trained). Since I got four dogs. NO ONE will rent us a room. This Best Western used to make an exception for me a couple of years ago when I had three dogs. I called last week and asked and after being on hold for 6 minutes was told no, it was above capacity. I then offered to pay for 2 rooms with an adjoining door. They treated me like a child trying to cheat on a test and refused, so much for "above capacity ". At mo time did the manager I asked to speak with talk to me but used the front-desk clerk as a go- between. Their tobe was not "dog -friendly ".

So I’ll start with the good. Check in was smooth. Now for the not so good. We had to walk now several stairs then back up 2 floors outside. The room was cold when we entered so turned the heater on. It would run for 2-3 minutes then turn off. Even when I turned the setting to 84 it still wouldn’t heat the room. Mike was very helpful and gave us the room next door. Great, except no soap or shampoo and the tub had hair in it. But the heater worked. No daily housekeeping so instructions said put towels outside the door by 9am and they’d be replaced. Towels went out but not replaced. Breakfast was just okay. Mike was very helpful through it all!

We checked in late and when we got to our room the bathroom was not clean. There was hair and toothpaste in the sink and hair in the bath tub. We called the front desk and asked for another room but all that they had left was a handicapped room with two beds. The hotel did not have anyone to clean the room at this hour. Unfortunately the hotel was booked and so was the entire 4 city area. So we cleaned the bathroom and checked out the next day. I understand that hotels are having labor problems, but there was no one available to clean the room at 9 p.m. at night. This may have been a one off for this location, but I would beware. At the prices they charge you do expect your room to be clean.Rooms: Bathroom was not clean.

I enjoyed my stay, but we had a bit of a situation with the hotel rooms. Maintenance and staff members helped with the situation and were very reasonable.

Breakfast was disappointing. Sausage was different. Tasted like plant food. Egg’s also had sausages mixed in. Please bring back bacon or ham.? Plain scrambled eggs are better than adding something. We love this place! Please don’t change!Marcy and DerwinRooms: Stop putting us under stair wells. We stay often!

Not so great. The lamp near the beds was very tall, but the shade was short, so as you sat in bed you have 2 bulbs in your face. The toilet seat would not stay up on it's own, so you have to hold it up if you're a guy. There were no spare blankets in the room and the sheets were difficult to manage. The refrigerator was so loud we had to turn it off. The staff was very nice and the free breakfast was pretty good, coffee could have been a little better.

The Prescottonian was a mixed bag. We had several check-in snags (including being given an initial room with a patio door that opened straight into the designated smoking courtyard, despite our asking to avoid that), and the layout of the entire grounds is a bit difficult. The building we stayed in had no elevator, which meant lugging our bags down a flight of stairs from the back lot and then up three other sets of stairs to reach our room, and there was no direct parking area for that building — parking was at a side lot or in front of another building altogether. The orientation of the building was also odd, with the room door facing out to a lovely hillside vantage but the balcony (which was the only window space) facing the backside of the other hotel building — total loss of what could’ve been a great view). The room itself was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was tight, with the door swinging just inches from the tub and toilet (towels behind the door), but it was tidy and stocked with the basics. The dining area was humming and had plenty of options, and it’s certainly a popular stop for those passing through northern Arizona.
