“When I say I wish I could give TechZone 10 stars, I'm being 100% dead serious. This place is absolutely incredible in every single way. From the time Rob spent on the phone with me the first time I called, to scheduling me in 3 days, to their facility, the fact that they diagnosed and fixed my issue within 4 hours, to the incredibly fair price I paid. I truly can't say enough good things about TechZone and in particular, Rob Lashin.I had a baffling front camera issue that the Ford Dealership (in St. Helena) didn't resolve. They told me I needed a new lane departure camera and new rearview camera, which I knew was BS. They wanted to charge me almost $1,200. Rob quickly diagnosed it as a faulty front camera module. And for half of what the dealership wanted to charge me, they diagnosed the problem, sourced the part, picked it up, and installed it in LESS THAN 4 HOURS! They didn't even mark up the camera module, and they got a price $150 less than what the Ford dealership quoted me. I was back in my truck by noon today. What's more, he could have easily talked me into a relatively expensive camera calibration, but he said that it really wasn't necessary and if he were me, he wouldn't do it. Now THAT'S an honest, stand-up guy. Truly a rarity in today's automotive repair world. I'm so glad I found TechZone. Best auto repair experience I've ever had in all of my 49 years on earth. If you have any simple or complex electrical, camera, connectivity, display, or suspension/alignment issue, you really need to go see Rob at TechZone. “Wow, had a car disaster with a breakdown on 680 near Concord. I was so stressed because I was on my way to a DJ gig. A friend brought his truck which saved my life and the gig, but I had to deal with the car still. I didn't know there was a four hour limit before a car gets towed..anyway, fetched my car out of the tow yard and a friend gave me a ride there.My car broke down on the way back (battery terminal issue) and my friend recommend Mike @ Anywhere Automotive nearby. Trusting my friend, we went over, it was late evening on a Sunday. Slipped the key into the mailbox and texted Mike the details of what happened.Long story short, Mike did great work, went over and above and got my car back to me the next day. INCREDIBLE turnaround and this was one of the COLDEST days of the year. It is not easy to work with your hands out in the cold. Huge respect to Mike. Gave him a tip on top of the great work he did.I had two car issues that both became a colossal failure point. I had a minor front end collision that moved my radiator. Over time, it was rubbing on a certain part of the chassis and a slow leak developed that took several months to form. Meanwhile, my battery terminal was corroding from a bad battery (I just replaced it) and I didn't take care of the corrosion cleanly. It came back and the lack of conductivity was killing the battery charge. So my car would lose power every 30 seconds without a jump.Mike replaced the radiator, replaced the battery terminal and even fixed hood a bit so it could close all the way. There was a gap previously due to the the small accident before. It was such an eyesore.He also cleared my codes and gave me pointers on future items to work on for the car.Just amazing honesty, competence and speed. And again, he was working on one of the coldest days of the year. Had to give him an extra tip for that that too. Thank you Mike!!Services: General repairs & maintenance”

I live in las vegas now, and when I get ready to build another engine, I'm driving the miles to get back to main machine. Btw, did I mention I have over 45,000 miles on my engine? What I got was a high quality bumper respray and key/scratch fix that was done fast and with care. I'll be back if I need more paint work done and would recommend this place to my friends.”
“Took my Toyota 4Runner cylinder head to be machined at a another shop the initial Inspection was $230 they stated it would cost me $1,100 to machine it on top of the $230 I already owned them. For that price I could purchase a new one for $700 though it would be an after market replacement. Decided to go to Dan's engine shop in Concord on a recommendation and the machined the head for $550. Got me back on the road for less than half the price and got it done in 3 days. Super knowledgeable and friendly. You can't find honest people anymore, but in this shop you can! Thank you!”

“Brought in my 2003 Toyota Corolla with a rusty muffler that was damn near falling off. He spot welded it in place for $25 dollars to buy me some time until I can get my finances in order. Will definitely be returning to City Mufflers in a few weeks to have them replace it. Staff was super nice, and a very meticulously clean shop!
