“This was our first time hiring a mover (feeling our age) and we just wanted help with the really heavy stuff. We were paying by the hour and I have to say, Omar and his helper didn't waste a minute. They were careful enough, but would just pick up and carry things (like a big cast iron bathtub) that I couldn't believe. Even the ten mile drive to our new place, they were right behind me, booking it! As I recall, the rates were definitely lower than the other two places I called. They even got our washer and dryer up some stairs and into a tight little area. I was very happy I'd hired Omar.”

Tana movers was very professional, The strong as heck staff moved my 1000lb (no exaggeration) 140 year old piano from the second floor of an equally old victorian to the ground, off to temporary storage did so with so much consideration, respect and care, it was an emotional experience for me, but they had it *completely* handled. I will be calling them again when i need it moved to my new place.... hopefully a single level!!!”

“They helped me with a long distance move from San Francisco to Portland OR. Hannah was great from the beginning, with good communication and upfront about information. I got quotes from two other companies. One quoted me 1-2k higher, and said that I was getting a good value with this company. The other quoted me 1.5k lower, but used very aggressive sales tactics and made me feel uncomfortable about trusting them with my move. Very happy I went with this service. They got my moving permit for me and navigated parallel parking on a very narrow SF street that has a light rail going by it. I packed myself and the movers, Anthony and Jesus, were polite and professional. They were communicative about delivery time, and got my things to me in a reasonable time, even when their truck broke down and they had to take it into the shop. All of my stuff was there, and when I thought a few things were missing, they knew by memory that they'd actually put those things in the wardrobe box I hadn't opened yet. Would use them again.”

“Did a tricky move from LA to Sonoma County with 2 trucks. Both homes up steep narrow hillsides. One unpaved. Have to shout out to Ron and Dan who drove down from Petaluma and lead the move team in LA, then drove the trucks up north and lead the unpacking. They both went above and beyond all the way around. Without them it would not have happened. Overall, the rest of the Robb Messner team was good, but afew things you should watch out for. If you're moving somewhere with limited accessibility, make sure they visit that location ahead of time to assess needs. They said they would do this but they didn't, and the trucks got stuck halfway up our driveway and it took a bit to get them all the way up. In terms of packing, it was well worth them packing heavy items such as large mirrors and artwork, but when it came to some random small items we had them pack, we were unhappily surprised to find a number of boxes were packed with only one item. You pay per box and this was just wrong. If you book early, best to check in afew days ahead of time and review the plan with them, this would have helped with some miscommunication that happened on our first day. It all got straightened out though and overall they are a solid company that I would use again.”

“First thing you will notice about this moving company is the person that you talk with on the phone is very professional. Rose took her time and explained all the information to me very clearly and precisely. She emailed me a confirmation and then as the date approached, she reconfirmed. Julian and Jesse arrived on time with first rate equipment and all the necessary tools to do the job correctly. Nothing got broken or even scratched. They were so pleasant and easy to be around.
