Sam champion completely stands out even among such an amazing group. We have had some complicated and emotionally charged banking needs and I can't emphasize enough the consistently above and beyond service that we've received from Mr Champion. The compassion and empathy we experienced was truly remarkable. Sam Champion is someone I aspire to be like. He displays incredible leadership skills by allowing the other bankers to do and learn their tasks while always being there to support them and making sure the right thing is done in a timely matter. “Despite all of the negative reviews that a lot of in-person banking tends to get these days (I believe that people are impatient and don't like standing in line), I am here to say that I have always received stellar service at Wells Fargo, and namely, this branch. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly people. The tellers are all efficient and polite and professional. I never have to wait long in line, as they consistently have ample staffing. When problems arise, the manager(s) are always close at hand and eager to help out. This branch is convenient (lots of parking, central location, easy to get to, good accessible hours), clean, bright, and has a good layout that promotes quick service. I really hope that in-person banking never goes away, because, for some of us, interaction with a live, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable human being is priceless. There are simply services and questions that cannot be dealt with over the phone or online. Please save in-person banking! And Wells Fargo is great. This branch is particularly the best out of all the local ones (Hillsdale, downtown San Mateo, Belmont, downtown Burlingame, Broadway, etc). Foster City Wells Fargo branch is my go-to place for great service with a smile, and help with all of my banking needs & questions. I come here every week and the staff here feel like family/friends. “Swooped and guided by Ms. Anju Nigam, the branch manager, I was welcomed to the office to help me understand the latest rates for longterm deposits. Though most transactions can be managed at the ATM or online, there is a continued need for human judgment and personal clarification of the "small font" details that impact, deposits, withdrawals and penalties. Most importantly, especially in these uncertain financial times, one needs guidance to plan emergency access with least hassle and cost. Ms. Nigam was patient, cool, collected, low-key and carried a conversation discreetly and preserving the "sanctity" of our conversations. Best of all, in offering personalized service, she helped us bon as we chatted about our grandchildren. Thank you!”

“For the most part, US Bank branches have generally good customer service. But I recently visited the Safeway branch in Cupertino, and I was extremely impressed by the style of customer service these group of guys offer. Vu H Huynh is the manager at that branch, and he has a very nice way of making sure his customers are acknowledged as soon as they approach the bank, and happy at the end of each transaction. His team seemed to have the flexibility, and his encouragement to use their personalities to help each transaction go smoothly and efficiently. They don't mind getting a little loud, and being a little goofy to make the customer feel at home. I am very impressed with Vu, and I am glad I had a chance to visit his branch to witness excellence in customer service. It is rare to see this level of quality.”

“Came here to get a snack but have gotten gas in the past. Decently priced gas from a 76. The circle K is more of a mini circle k. Decent selection of snacks, drinks, coffee, sluprees and more. They sell cigs too and lotto. One thing missing from this circle K unlike others I've been too in the 80s is a phone booth. You know the classic Pacific Bell glass square kind. Im always in the hunt for one at a circle K and checking to see if it's a time machine. I once got into one after talking to someone named Rufu's, he pre-warned me about it but I didn't believe him. Sure enough we took off on a bogus trip and warped around from the 1600-early 1900s. We came back with some important and most excellent folks for a school (San Dimas) project and then had to let them drop them off afterwards (Joan a Ark, Abe Lincoln and others. The 2 others with me (Bill and Ted, band mates) had a great time as well. We got an A for our school project and I went off to college. Later these two made it big with their band "White Stallion" and did a movie on the experience. Seems they forgot about me as I was not mentioned or in the movie. I'm on the hunt for this phone booth so I can back in time and get my money owed for that story that should be "Bill, Ted and Paul's excellent adventure." Let me know if you find it.”

We recently moved to Sunnyvale and this is the closest thing to our house. I am so glad that it is because the staff here is so friendly, they were so helpful and in the short time that I've been here I feel like I've gotten to know a few of them one-on-one.
