“I recently moved to GB and inherited chickens. This place has been very helpful with keeping my chickens fed and supplies for keeping the coop cleaned up. The staff are very helpful and make good suggestions. They also have a great array of dog toys and dog/ cat food. I like that they grab and load the heavy, bulky items and put them in your car.”
“The employees were very busy with boarding pets so we weren't able to interact with them much. They had so many birds available to look at and to potentially adopt ! They have affordable prices on food and bird needs. Seen the same exact cage there for $64.99 that petsmart is selling for 99.99!! That should say enough, support your local bird shop”
“I've been trying to find a good cat groomer in the area, and this place was amazing. The staff were so sweet and did a great job with my cat. The price is also one of the more affordable I've been able to find. They got me in one day after I called for an appointment. Long hair cat bath, de-shed, and brush was only $108! No complaints here. I can tell the staff care about the animals they work on. My cat came back so fresh and so clean!!”

“Came here to get a bag of hay to winterize the fetal cathouses my husband and I have in our backyard for the cats we care for. A small, beautifully appointed feed store that had a great selection of premium pet food and supplements, and some pretty awesome looking chicken coops if you are lucky enough to have a yard big enough for chickens! The store is super clean and the young woman who packaged up my small bag of straw was super sweet! I've been driving by this store for many decades and it's super convenient, since it's not that easy to find a true feed store in the area.”
“I had the best experience with these kind people plus my Buddy really liked them. I am in my late 80s and had to go pick up Buddy in the dark. There shop is off the highway and hard to find at night. They said they called me right away because it was dark they would bring Buddy to my home but I didn't hear the phone ring, so I didn't pick up . They ended up taking me home in my car with husband driving me and his wife followed us to bring him home. I was amazed at the kindness they showed to me and they will be Buddy's groomers as long as I'm able to get him there. Plus they do a good job grooming my shi-tsu pup,”
“This place is amazing- they have so much, ill make sure to post some photos next time. I went in blind expecting minimal accessories for aquariums/reptiles, but they have a wide variety of tanks, cages, substrate, filters, soil(s), decorations (both artificial and live plants) and much more! And their prices are very reasonable compared to bigger chains such as petsmart or petco. A small fish tank that costs $30 at the previously mentioned was only $15 here, and the staff is helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend checking them out.”

“My buddy noticed this shop after we had lunch at Nix taco, so we poked our heads in. My best friends pomeranian is getting up there in age and had stopped eating, I thought this was a good time to try and find something she might eat. I spoke to the gentleman behind the counter and he recommended the tripett, I grabbed a can. Also, grabbed some Butcher Box pate. The gentleman helping me gave me some treats to try... anyways, my friend just texted me that her dog gobbled it up, so you know, come here and give this shop your business.”
“Great prices and super friendly employees! I go to the Roseville location. Huge selection of dog food, but not so much with cat food. And that's ok because they have everything else! We like Nulo Lifestyle Cat Food so we get it at Bark Avenue in Rocklin. And since Boot Barn is just up the street from Bark Avenue...and Taco Express is right there...best street tacos ever!...I make my pet food errand day fun and yummy!”

“Our kids wanted a hamster, so we went to PetSmart on 1738 Watt Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825. A kind lady, Candie, was awesome. She explained everything to us and told us many helpful facts, that it is better not to buy a pair of hamsters because after a while they can eat each other. She let us pet all hamsters and one bit her. She showed us chinchillas, explained their behavior, and let us pet them as well. Then, because our son was hesitating what to take and decided to see cats in their store, Candie let us pet all cats. We left the store completely satisfied with our experience there and with knowledge we got from Candie.So, now we are waiting for our kids' decision about what pet to choose.”

“I took my dog here for her first-time grooming experience. She is 3 years old, but I always cut her nails at home. She had this back toenail that I could never get to very well. I decided to take her here. They were very gentle with her and it only took them 15 minutes. The guy cutting her nails was absolutely fantastic with her. All the workers there were kind and friendly. My dog came out more calm than she went in (she has anxiety), and her nails were cut better than I could cut them. I'll definitely be going back :)”

“Incredibly impressed- I was in the hospital for a week and my husband was overwhelmed. I was very tired and we usually was our 2 pugs together. DeeDee is about 13 and Poppy is a year old- we moved up to Rancho Cordova and I saw a post on Nextdoor about White Lion -I called just to see how long it may be to make an appointment and the woman answered right away ! She was very nice and accommodating- I never dreamed she would take us the same day! My husband dropped the girls off and they were finished in an hour and a half- when he picked them up the were clean soft and dry- the smell really clean! I cried from joy with the excellent service- we will most definitely be return customers!
