“We were in town to visit folks who live in Lawndale, and this was a really good place to stay that was convenient to them, as well as the beaches of LA (Manhattan Beach was about 15 minutes away, and Venice Beach was probably 20 minutes, same with Redondo Beach). The hotel is conveniently located at a main interesection (Hawthorne & Marine). Lots of dining options very nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was pretty good. Lots of options (always hot eggs & sausage & potato fries, as well as fresh waffles, toast, muffins, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, etc....). For future visits, this would be our first choice of a hotel to stay at.”

“Ok ok, so I'm about to put you on to one of the best kept secrets. Days inn on hawthorn Blvd., this is a little hidden gem whenever you're visiting Los Angeles. IT's minutes away from the beach and very convenient for food & shopping. I've been coming to this location for about a yr now and they never cease to amaze me. The entire staff are so awesome, respectful and helpful, and I'm not just saying this. The manager will go above and beyond for any guests staying or looking to stay at this location. They have no deposits which come in handy when you're on a budget and they will even accept cash ( with a returnable deposit upon check out) . The rooms are super clean, they serve breakfast and they even have a heated hot tub. I could literally write a novel about the great experiences I've had whenever I'm staying at this hotel. The rooms are also nice, cozy and comfortable did I say clean . You'll really have to just go by and see for yourself. Now it's no 5 star Hilton look but the service and hospitality tops any location with that status. The area is nice low key and safe it's also child friendly. Don't say I didn't tell you but for those of you lucky enough to stay here you'll definitely enjoy. Oh and one more thing, it's close to LAX with minimal traffic access to highways and just convenient. I'll definitely be here again or as much as needed .”
