“Friendly staff and never crowded. There’s ample parking and I feel pretty lucky that they’re rarely out of my must haves. If you have a little one, try searching for Pierre with them - they’re an adorable stuffed peacock that always changes spots. Pierre is like the TJ mascot of the Rolling Hills store because peacocks are wild in the area. If your little one finds Pierre just make sure they tell the person at checkout for a lollipop and stickers.”

“Absolutely love having a package-free shop in Long Beach, especially with the limited grocery stores in DTLB.I came in for the bread and bought the baguette for $6 - the shop employee let me know that it was just delivered earlier that day, but if it was a day old, it'd be 25% off. (Always good to know.)They have other things too, e.g., vegan cheeses, tofu (on certain days), pickles, pantry goods, etc. - I'll have to come back for that another day, but certain a worthwhile stop if you're in the area.Bonus points for sourcing za'atar from Palestine! (The spices are from Burlap & Barrel: burlapandbarrel.com.) Massive shout-out to the awesome employee who looked up where the za'atar was sourced from for me when I asked, confirming it was Palestinian - they were so kind and I truly appreciate it! (I'm so sorry I didn't catch their name - bad habit on my part.)Pro-tip: If you have Tupperware, take-out containers, glass jars, etc., but don't know what to do with them and don't want to simply throw them out, bring them here! They clean and sanitise them, and then make it avaliable in-store (for free) for anyone who may not have brougth their own containers. I love, love, love this concept and am already putting aside all the containers I no longer need but have accumulated.”

The parking isn't ideal, it's a bit of a nightmare trying to find parking on the weekends, but I feel like the food makes it worth it. “Trader Joe's is a fun, supermarket that has the best gifts, foods, flowers, teas, greeting cards, desserts, coffee, mints, water, shopping bags, gummi candy, juices, energy shots, etc. When I shop at Trader Joe's it feels like I am on a grocery hunt- checking out the new products and picking up my favorite foods. I was blessed to meet Kate- I was looking for a few items and she helped me locate some and told me when the others would be in stock.. If you want to know the funny, full of life and bubbly duo seek out Adrian and Laura both are full of comedy, talkative and well rounded!! “I've been coming here since I was pregnant with my first child, so since 2022 and I've always had a good experience with all the employees. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The shelves are always stocked and it's always clean. The male manager is super kind and always has a smile on his face! One particular employee 'Jose' was telling me about a promotion going on and taking his time on helping me out. I appreciate his work ethic. He deserves to be recognized.”
