VCA ASEC is truly the best clinic you could possibly find. It is staffed by the best doctors, nurses, and other personnel. These caring angels make this place special. If you love your pet, bring them to this clinic.I'm writing this review the day after our beloved dog, Lilu, passed away at this clinic. She fought for a month and a half, during which we visited the clinic often for surgeries, procedures, and other services. We are heartbroken, barely able to endure each day. But what VCA ASEC did for us is beyond words. We asked them for a paw print to later tattoo in memory of Lilu. They not only provided a paw print but also sent flowers to our home and prepared a condolence card signed by the medical staff. We cannot express our gratitude enough for everything they did for us and our dog. We know they fought with us to help us get through this. From the bottom of my heart, we love you, VCA. On the worst day of our lives, we felt support and love from all of you.To the management of this clinic:Please, I implore you to keep hiring such great and loving people. You've created something very special here with a very special team. I hope you are compensating all of your employees well, as they deserve only the best.P.S.Thank you, Dr. Sundby and Dr. Ross, for doing everything that you could have done. We love you.

I cant even begin to express the gratitude for the staff and doctors here! I brought my dog Norman in who had eaten something he should not have. The staff was incredibly friendly, understanding and comforting. Norman was taken back right away and the doctors and staff members explained every step of the process and all of his post visit care in detail. Going to the vet in the middle of the night is never fun and always takes a long time, but I’m so grateful that everyone here worked hard to get Norman better and ensured we were clear in his care. Thank you so much!!! This is the only VCA location I’ll be going to moving forward!

We came in with our dog tonight who needed emergency treatment and surgery. The staff were so caring towards our dog as well as us and we feel so grateful for their kindness. It is late and it has been a long and emotional day but the way they treated us brought me to tears. Thank you all for your help tonight and for being so kind to us.

We've had to bring our fur baby here twice now and they've been top-tier both times. The first visit was for emergency surgery post-op observation/care and they were so gracious with our dog and us. The second visit was when we brought our boy in for an oncology appointment and they were so patient, kind and helpful. They treated us like family! I don't impress easily and they really impressed me today. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate the high-level of care they provided every step of the way.

Sadly, I've had three dogs who have needed the care from ASEC. While it's an extremely hard thing to go through, I can't speak highly enough of the staff there. They are kind, patient, and caring. The vets are tops. The follow up care and phone calls are so important and never once have I felt like I was being rushed through a conversation. While I wish I never had to go back there (who wants to go through such illness with their beloved pets), there is no place I would ever go besides ASEC.

They were able to fit my baby in right away for an ultrasound. The process was smooth and very fast and everyone was very nice. The results came back super fast. Best experience I’ve had at any emergency or speciality center.

WE LOVE VCA! I never write reviews but I felt particularly inclined to share my experience here. The staff, service, & facility are the best of the best. With that said, having all of the conveniences under 1 roof comes at a price. For us, the availability and the accessibility is priority which really came to light when they saved our Pomeranian's life. He had been experiencing distressed breathing so we rushed him in and they immediately took him back to give him oxygen while they were running tests to get a diagnosis. If they didn't have all the equipment available in that very moment I don't even want to think what could have happened. Soon enough their cardiologists, Dr. Haimovitz & Dr. Phipps, came in and made an immediate diagnosis leading to immediate treatment. Simba was in heart failure (with no previous signs of a murmur or condition). His heart was suddenly enlarged from the blood not being able to leave to the body and it was also going back into his lungs causing them to fill with fluid and that's why we noticed his distressed breathing. They kept him for 2 nights and we continue to do his follow up treatments there. Upon discharge, we got a detailed explanation of his condition, how it happened, a treatment plan, various options, & a prognosis. Never once did anyone try to rush me out and they also emailed me a detailed report. I should also note, about 2 years prior to this, Simba had a surgery with Dr. Sommerville who I didn't write a review for but was also EXCELLENT from beginning to end. From the bottom of my heart, I could not be more grateful for the love and urgency they have shown my little Simi over the years. From the receptionists to the specialists to the surgeons, they really are the dream team. We are so fortunate to have been able to take Simba there. While we hope to never have an emergency again, we rest easy knowing that VCA is out there when we need them. So much gratitude!!!!

When it comes to care this team is exemplary. Admittedly the experience wasn’t perfect, but perfection is the intention. Working with animals is challenging with so many factors outside of our control as owners and their control and medical providers. Therefore I am happy to give the highest marks to their team for their earnest love of the patients they treat and the parents they serve.I feel most confident that my puppy will always be in good hands with VCA.

I took my pet here for an ultrasound of the liver. I was there about five minutes before the appointment and was greeted by a friendly staff. I was roomed immediately, and Dr. Yoshimoto entered the room within another five minutes. The doctor did a great job of explaining the ultrasound and took my dog back with him. The ultrasound was done in about 40 minutes, and the doctor came out and explained his findings in common terms. We now have a plan of action. Overall, this was a great experience for a stressful situation with my pet.

Positives the staff is very friendly and attentive. Downside I feel they definitely overprice. I called because my dog swallowed something he shouldn’t have. I started the process for them of giving him hydrogen peroxide getting him to throw up once he got there they tried more peroxide with that didn’t work. They used two doses of eyedrops, and he passed the item. This all took about 40 minutes total and came to $650.

Thank you to Dr. Chow and all the Vet Techs at VCA ASEC. Our cat had cancer on his face and they did a great job handling us, the cancer and everything in between. Thank you!
