“The gas here seems ridiculously expensive, so I try to not go here. However, I had an emergency problem with my car, so pulled in because it was the closest place (safest to drive to). They checked out the situation and didn't have the part I needed, but since I needed to drive a few hours that evening and couldn't wait for them to order what I needed, they called around until they found a shop that could help me out and made me an appointment. Within an hour and a half, my car was good to go. I'm really grateful for their kind and generous help even though I didn't end up being a paying customer.”

“Good prices and fewer maintenance issues than the average gas station. Turns are a bit tight to get in and out - watch out for those curbs. Note: I don't think I've ever gone inside.”

“4 stars for convenience. They are located right off the 101 freeway and they have a smog station right here . Water and air is always working and free. Mini mart as well is fine. Not super stocked. Always use my Safeway points to get discounted prices on the high gas prices! Highly recommend”

“The customer service at this Chevron location is always consistent. They're courteous and helpful. The gas prices are often better than the other Chevron on University. Its spacious and even better that it has its own carwash. However, this carwash sometimes is not open when it needs to be but when open and operating it is so helpful to have! The air is always free but vacuuming is $1.75. Lately vacuuming and air has been experiencing some rough times because its been wearing the "out of order" sign for a minute. While they might not work the fact that it has these things available makes it a worthwhile stop.”

“I can NOT speak to the quality of servicing a car here b/c I typically go to the dealer (we have a package with them). Today I had my under the front bumper splash guard fall down and it was dragging. I do not know anything about cars, but I realized I could safely drive to the Shell station and maybe they could take it off for me and I'd get a new one tomorrow. I pulled in, and the sweet service team came right out, climbed under the front and reattached the guard for me. After thanking them profusely, I asked how much I owed them...the team had spent several minutes doing this and I know they have a lot to do. The main person who worked on it said, "Nothing." I was stunned - no one does nice things like this anymore. I said, "Wait, really? Can I give YOU something?" He responds, "We're not about the money here." I am still glowing from such a kind act on their part. This is 2021 and we should be nicer to each other in the world, but for the most part, folks just aren't as nice as they should be. And certainly service stations and car repair shops are notorious for charging for every little thing. What a wonderful surprise to have this gift of security for me as a driver, of them helping me get home (which is 30 miles north) on a workday evening, and for not charging me. Wow. Five Stars means FIVE STARS.”

“Looking to pay $2 more than every other gas station in the Bay Area? Then today is your lucky day! This place is very consistent and rest assured you will always pay $2 more per gallon than every place else. Looking to buy expired snacks at double the price? You'll feel like you just hit the lottery because again.... This place will always have expired goods at double the price. The bathrooms here are also "broken" year round. The owner will point to the bushes behind the gas station to relieve yourself.”
