Small, independent, clean Hispanic grocery with taqueria.Stumbled in here because one of my projects is close by. First time I came in here was for some shrimp pico de gallo. It wasn't bad but just not living to the hype. The shrimps were hard. Cooked not raw. Maybe that's why. But I decided to try the taqueria in the back finally. I asked for a chicken egg burrito no rice and beans. Damn glad I did. They were sketch at first but I asked if they can do it or not. Their answer was in the burrito. Damn, they added pico, tomatillo sauce, sour cream and guacamole. That burrito was not only juicy it was delicious and screaming "Eat me! Eat me!" Sound familiar? Inside joke. Anyhow, I want to add this place is clean, organized and well stocked with all your Hispanic goodies. They have chicharonnes which I will have to try with their fresh guacamole next. Good eats folks!

I have been coming to this place since I was kid. Although this particular market has gone through a few owners, I believe this is the most solid I have ever seen them. This place offers everything you need for a local grocer at the size that it is. While their focus may be geared more towards Hispanic, Latino, and Mexican preferences, they also offer what my family and I enjoy such as fresh meats, and imported goods from the islands which includes coconut milk. I also appreciate that they do not look at me funny when I go in and do not respond in Spanish. I am an islander that does not speak Spanish, and understands very little but just enough to know if someone is saying something inappropriate. Whenever I am approached in Spanish and respond in English, I simply get a smile and they respond in English. I have seen many grocery stores like this where the cashier will be frustrated or the customer will be frustrated and it does not make for a good interaction. This is not the case here. They are nice, their service is great, and again I have been coming here for as long as I have lived here. If you are in the area and you are looking for a good grocery store that offers what Soleska Market does, you should shop here. Support this local business, and the wonderful people that work here.

I've come to this place for 14 years and have almost always been satisfied with my shopping experience. Sometimes they run out of stock, but otherwise you get wheat you expect. It is a little more expensive than you'd expect, the prices have gone up unfortunately- But I love this place. It's like a second home to me.

Please do not shop here. This is where I used to come buy my groceries but after today I will no longer shop here! It is the second time I buy a food item that ends of being expired. The first time I just threw it out. This second time I decided to return it. Lorena the so called manager was extremely rude rude to me! She really tried to say the crackers bought were not expired. So, I told her I would not eat expired crackers and she could eat them if she'd like and I just wanted to return them. Lorena started getting extremely rude with me. So, said she want refunding me the money. So, I told her that would be fine but continued to argue and finally when I told her I would be reporting them to the city because they continue to sale expired food she gave me a refund... however, not without continuing to argue and be rude! I will be reporting this to the right people tomorrow. Please make sure you check every item you buy, because they will give you a hard time and be rude to you for returning and expired item! She should not be a manger and they really needs to be trained to be respectful to customers!

Not happy with customer service here from the checkers! The checker Lorena charged me $30 more because she entered the wrong code. I went back in twice for a credit! She was not apologetic. The carniceria workers are very nice and helpful the checkers should learn from them. It's all about customer service.

This place is mostly a neighborhood market, with a small restaurant in back. I always order the enchiladas suizas, which is excellent, but I cannot speak for anything else on the menu. This place is my favorite lunch spot in the area.

Not sure about the 1 star reviews--I was really happy with this place when I went to it last week. I am looking forward to trying more from their menu, but I got the tacos al pastor (basically, for me, the gold standard for judging a taqueria). The tacos are $2 a pop and come with a decent amount of meat. What a deal! I got two as I just wanted a late lunch/snack. The meat was perfectly seasoned and crispy (yum!!) with a good salsa on it along with "everything" aka onions and cilantro--just the right amounts. I am looking forward to returning for my next taco fix! PS, the food area was clean, and I got my meal quickly. Also, they weren't weird about me not having cash for $4 of tacos, so that was much appreciated.

Second time coming here and their taco meat is hard with no flavor at all. Their restaurant used to be good now it's just rubbish. Won't order here anymore. I rather spend money on gas driving to El Grullense

Tacos are good but not enough meat on the super burritos (a table spoon of meat) and all you really get is rice and beans. I asked if they can add more meat and she replied with "do you want extra meat? I'd have to charge you" I said no, just even out the portion of the meat to the rice and beans. When I stared eating it I got the same result as the last time. I'd rather go to Los Gallos instead.
