“I was at this place trying to find a walking cane because of the long time injury on my left knee! I could hardly walk because it is so painful. Janet was the person that helped me. She was very courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. She basically asked me some questions and tried to find out why I need a walking cane? She showed me quite a few canes but I didn't like them because I worried about if I tripped the bottom of the cane; that might just be worse. She suggested that I need to treat the pain in my knee and showed me a few knee sleeves. She even tried to put one on for me and asked me to walk a few steps and see how I felt. I was surprised that it made my leg felt more stable and could walk a little better. It's less painful by wearing that knee sleeve. Thank you so much, Janet! I appreciate it very much. I will wear it until I can find a good orthopedic surgeon to operate on my torn knee!”

“My doctor suggested I give this pharmacy a try. So she sent my prescriptions to get filled here. Recieved a call from David a few hours later to confirm my prescriptions and to discuss coupon options to help cover co pay costs. I have never experienced that from any previous pharmacy. David informed me to look online for a coupon to use for one of my meds and to call him back with the info. He also would assist with fillng one of my other meds as it was out of stock and would make sure to get it filled as soon as it was available. Just today David left me a voicemail telling me he found another coupon to use on another of my meds. And David was able to fill all my prescriptions nin a timely manner. I gotta say I am very impressed with this small pharmacy. I will keep filling my prescriptions here from now on. I suggest you give them a try if you are tired of big chain pharmacies and want a more personal experience.”

Their friendly smiles from the time you walk in until the time you walk out is phenomenal. Not only do they meet your medical and medicine needs, they have other necessities like beautiful sandals, purses, hygienes, plenty of disinfectants from wipes to sprays, travel Handy's, as well as to go snacks, etc...Its a all in one stop pharmacy. “I have been using St. Antony Pharmacy for the past several years now, and I have to say, it is now "safe" to say how this pharmacy is one of the best pharmacies I have ever used- EVER. The service is excellent, and this is one of the places I usually get some of my compound medications from. You would think common courtesy is commonplace for all pharmacies, but sadly, that is not the case, even for pharmacies that get good reviews. So you must beware!Emad, the owner, is always very responsive when a medication does not go through for the first few times. Insurances and negligent doctors' offices can be very lazy, not to mention some other pharmacies I had to deal with in the past- meaning like having to ask for something 10-20 times even, and still being ignored!I cannot recall a time that St. Antony's has failed to return a call or email of mine, or text even! I would imagine that it is the Owner's personal value system that might have a lot to do with the way he treats his customers!This pharmacy makes themselves available through all modes of communication- email, phone, and text. I also love how they are open on Saturdays.My only wish is that I would have discovered this place a whole lot sooner, before COVID. It’s like my hometown drug store where I feel comfortable discussing problems or issues. Thats not even the best part. The pharmacist, Dr Asher, has been involved in my treatment for an issue I’ve had for years. “This pharmacy is locally owned. The store is clean an inviting. Uyen and Maria, and the rest of staff are friendly and helpful. Although the pharmacy is smaller than the major pharmacies (CVS, WALGREENS), Southwood Pharmacy is efficient. They are very experienced and on top of your medical needs. Uyen is awesome. She not only makes you feel welcome, she is accurate, organized, and listens to your needs. I see her as a good friend. I would highly recommend Southwest Pharmacy.”

“I wanted to transfer my prescription from a norcal pharmacy but we ran into some communication issues with the norcal pharmacy for about two days. Phone service was great with the La Playa staff and physician which made the process of receiving my RX quite smooth. When I went to pick up the meds they were all very nice and helpful. The store is cute and well stocked but is pricy as expected. Picked up some CeraVe samples at the front.”
