Don't use this place for your prescriptions. I've had multiple problems with them failing to order items and having to go back despite their promises to call. Not trustworthy.

I've been there 5 times, and the first 3 visits they got robbed, this is a shout out for the pharmacy.that woman behind the counter is a Force to be reckoned with!!!, she takes control in a manner all her own.. I have to go pick up a script and I'm nervous about it, I've had some issues.but I love my Walgreens thanks...

This pharmacy tells you to call them and then audibly hangs up on your call before you can get off hold. Happened multiple times.

Average experience However, this Walgreens is often time lacking in diversity of products available and security can be overbearing at times giving the shopping experience and institutional feeling

I needed to pick up some stationary items over a holiday weekend, and I couldn't find any shipping places open so I decided to go to this Walgreens to pick up what I needed in spite of all the negative stuff in the news about these sorts of stores in San Francisco. This place was entirely serviceable. There was even an extra employee at the beauty supply desk who opened a point of sale machine when the primary line got too long. She came around and told folks she was open and happy to help them. All the stuff you see about pharmacies in San Francisco might be true of other locations, but I found this one perfectly fine.In my experience, the Walgreens on Carrollton and Canal in New Orleans is MUCH worse in every respect. More aggressive panhandlers outside, worse condition inside the store, slower and worse customer service personnel. That's an example of a store I'd avoid. This one, I'd return to if I was in town longer and needed anything else.

Talking with the pharmacy dept is like talking with a robot. One word responses, zero emotion, and abrupt hang up.

Horrible. Used money transfer service for weeks in the evening until 9pm (Walgreens system & service confirm). Manager flat out lied, said that it closes at 8. My receipt from the evening prior proved otherwise but he stood staunchly, continuing to lie. ? A different supervisor tired to argue that my ID wasn’t actually me, asking me for a “different valid ID”. That WAS my valid ID! How is someone supposed to prove that an ID is truly their own? Awkwardly showing phone pics of myself & sorting through random insurance cards in efforts to “prove” it was indeed my license. How embarrassing & uncomfortable! Visiting Walgreens when I’m sick & look it, to get medication & tissues, surely I don’t look exactly as I do in a 6 year old, hair & makeup done ID pic… come on employees, use some intelligence to work it out.

Zero stars for the Pharmacy. 4 simple meds to fill, Julie at the pharmacy says she can do it, just wait 1/2 hour. When I came back, another pharmacy employee hands me only two meds out of 4. Where is the rest? Oops Julie forgot. Wait another 20 minutes. After 20 minutes they hand me one more med, then say they don't have basic antibiotic. Julie says she called the "hospital" just two blocks down and to go there. What is the address? 1200 Franklin. I asked her 3 times to repeat the address as that sounded really strange. Is that CPMC emergency across the street? NO, Julie reassures me, it's at 1200 Franklin, medical "offices" and not ER, just two blocks "down" on Franklin. I drive in heavy traffic and hardly find parking in front of the building that does not look like "the hospital" or "medical offices". The building is gated, there is no way to get in. After 15 minutes a man comes out of the building and advises me that this is not a "hospital" nor a "medical office". I go back to Walgreens. The woman (Julie) at the pharmacy goes in hiding in the aisle when she sees me approaching. I tell another employee at the pharmacy that I was given the wrong address and where was I supposed to go? The woman at the Franklin Walgreens pharmacy tells me to go to 1101 VAn Ness, CPMC offices. I ask, why was I told 1200 Franklin? Julie barks behind the isle "it's on Van Ness". You are not getting any "I am sorry" or "I apologize for giving you wrong directions" here. I go to 1101 Van Ness, at this point I am WALKING since there is no parking anywhere, the door is closed, and the sign says "go to Franklin street emergency entrance". I go to CPMC ER, where there are 15 people waiting in line. I try to ask the woman working there about the "medical office" to pick up my meds, and she tells me to go back in line and wait my turn, although I don't need to go to ER. I wait. When it's my turn (after 1/2 hour), she tells me she does not know where the medical office is, and to ask the security over there. He advises that there is a "cedar" (which I could barely understand from his accent, he had to repeat 5 times) somewhere alongside van ness. I got tired trying to decipher his accent and went back to 1101 Van Ness. In the far distance across the street I saw "Cedar alley" towards downtown and figured that there is a lead ACROSS the street from Van Ness. It had nothing to do with 1101 Van Ness whatsoever! Turns out there are some medical offices but not on Van Ness but in that "Cedar" alley which is across 1101 closed Van Ness CPMC door, so not at 1101 Van Ness as they told me in Franklin Walgreens Pharmacy. Completely different building, and street from what Julie from Walgreens pharmacy told me. I go in there in Cedar Alley, there is another WALGREENS there inside the building, hidden by other buildings, not visible from the street. I wait to get my 4th prescription there. Go back to Julie to Franklin Walgreens pharmacy and ask to talk to the supervisor. I explain the situation, and Julie should have given me the right address the first time. I had to come three times to the Franklin street Walgreens pharmacy and none of the times did they give me the address right. Couldn't she give me the proper address and the fact that this was another Walgreens pharmacy and that I was supposed to go to Walgreens in Cedar alley, not on 1200 Franklin, and not on 1101 Van Ness and not to "medical offices"?? Can you at least get that right for God's sake? I seriously question their intelligence, customer service is AWFUL!! Somewhere from behind Julie yells, that she said Van ness the first time, when obviously she did not. My blood pressure is boiling I don't know whether from wasting my time caused by Julie giving me wrong address THREE TIMES or from Julie's lies. I don't know whether she misled me on purpose the first time or if she is just incredibl
