“I shop at the Santa Clara location often. Since they remodeled their store I did see their prices increase, however they do seem to have lowered them a bit because of so much criticism. I am not sure how the district office treat their employees . There are several employees at this store that are so dedicated and work their hardest to keep things clean and organized. One in particular is Tyler the Assistant Manager. He is like the Duracell bunny. He has great customer service, respect from his employees, is always moving and always trying to make the store look better. If anyone is looking for a great customer service person he would be a great person to take a chance on. I don't think Goodwill acknowledges some of these people. I would also love to mention Ray, Alban and Atsede for their hard working and customer server skills. They always have a smiling face and are eager to help. Again, I don't know if Goodwill always recognizes employees like this, but they have worked very hard to get where they are and I just wanted to say Thank You,not all people especially in retail are as caring.”

“I appreciate all the volunteers and especially the pastor whomever greeted me afterwards to chat for a bit. Going through hard times is tough. Need a little shade while waiting though.Thank you.”

“Love to stop by this well organized store. Yes prices are a bit high for a thrift store but they carry only quality items and proceeds go to a good cause - children's hospital fund. The volunteers here are always amazing!”

“They have a very nice selection of clothing! Everything is sectioned by sizing. They do have a plus size rack and a small fitting room. The store is on the smaller side but definitely one filled with hidden treasures and trinkets :) I would recommend to come early. Staff was very kind and helpful!”

“First of all, i love the music they play on their radio-- haha! Everyone is very nice and the service is overall 10/10. their selection of items really surprised me. They have toys, games, books, clothing, phone cases, and a bunch of other random gems! Lastly, the price of everything is shocking-- like, good shocking! you can find some really sweet and absolutely CHEAP items! like 75 cents each for hot wheels!? there are some really valuable things there priced very low which can really save lots of money for people like me who really don't have lots of money on them. 5/5 stars!”

“Kris is a wonderful person and incredibly passionate, friendly, talented, and real. Most of the jewelry she makes herself. The prices are fair and students of any school get 10% off. Definitely come check out this boutique!”

“I went here recently for the first time with my girlfriend after being recommended to come here and it was such a lovely experience! All the items are incredibly cute, the store is set up really nicely too! It was very clean and well organized. although I see some reviews complaining about the price, you can't get cute quality clothing and expect it to match Shein prices. The staff were also very kind. I will definitely be coming here again!”

“Found some amazing vintage pieces here! This store is small but MIGHTY. For the quality of items that they carry, I thought the prices were great. They also have an open dressing room, which I love. Expect to spend an average of around $10/item.”

“I love this shop. There's a variety of things to choose from and they are all reasonably priced. The owners are also very friendly. I'm always on the lookout for chances to shop at this store. Highly recommend checking this place out.”

“This place is great! Makes the Goodwill look archaic! So I went on Nextdoor neighbors and asked if anyone had a "---- " to sell me! Don't want to share what it was given the incredible deal I got at Savors! I think I will go back and relook to but another to give away as they actually gave useful items here- second or third hand, lots of items won't matter if they are used and this place has the things that are! All kinds of items and way more than other second hand stores I've gone to around the Southbay area! Go. Support And drop goods off too! I will absolutely return! (1-st review of 2024**).”

“I had some time to kill before a dentist's appointment and came here to drop off some donations and look around. They have a boutique section with clothes and home goods which is well curated on the second floor. I was hoping to find some nightstands to refinish, but they don't really have much in furniture. I was surprised how many items I purchased: - A set of 6 small flower shaped bowls from Pier One $4 - A brand new J Crew blazer with tag ~$20 - A 3-tiered marble and silver Godinger stand ~$30 - A small ceramic creamer that I will use as a vase $2 - 2 large green bowls ~$3 each”

“Excellent condition, good variety of commercial office items. Interesting to see price comparisons across each Habitats. This swung high on some furniture, reasonable on building materials.”

“I found a steam canner here for my mom and we got up to the cashier debating whether or not we wanted it. We were a bit sad when we said that we weren't going to keep it and we would just get it when we come back someday, but an amazing cashier, his name is Norman, paid for it for us and let us have it. We're really grateful so if the cashier Norman is reading this, thank you so much.”

“This is my second time dropping off items at this site. It was a quick task as they have categorized large labeled bins for almost everything. The only reason I did t give it a five star was there was little parking space. You also have to drive to the back which was one way in and out.”

“This is a really nice thrift-ish store in Los Gatos and I love the way it's laid out. Very friendly employees too!! if you wanna go shopping for Halloween, they have plenty of costume like clothing! It's such a deal!!”

“So, here's the scoop. I've been penning my thoughts on various thrift stores, and since I've shifted all my donations to this particular location, it's only fair I spill the beans here too. Not only do they seem to care more (like a doting grandma), but I also feel safer dropping off my stuff here (like a secure vault). Now, let's talk about my change of heart. Picture this: I usually frequent another store that's bigger than a whale, and when I go thrifting, I sometimes end up buying more than I need (guilty as charged!). It's like a treasure hunt where I find more than half of my list. But let's get back to the Salvation Army. When you donate and shop here, you're funding a residential Adult Rehabilitation Center program, which is pretty much run by its occupants. It's like a self-sustaining ecosystem! These programs are offered on a charitable basis, with no insurance required (talk about a sweet deal!). Now, if you stumble upon a review that says the staff was horrible, it might be from someone who's having a rough day in their recovery. It's like a rollercoaster ride, they have their ups and downs. Each person is there because they've decided to hold themselves accountable, like a knight facing a dragon. It's a process and a commitment for them, and each person there has a struggle that you may or may not understand. The store itself has recently had a makeover and now seems to be more organized than a librarian's bookshelf. I've found some real gems here in the past, which is why I don't visit as often - I end up buying these treasures and then stare at them for months while I try to resell them or just let them sit there. They've also extended their hours to be open on Sundays (hallelujah!). I'm a big fan of buying second hand (reduce, reuse, recycle, right?), so I will scout all the stores. But because of the Salvation Army's city presence with not only the program, but also the food program, homeless aid, and so much more, I support dropping my donations off here. It's like my personal fortress of goodwill (but no comparison) . I always seem to be greeted by someone and sometimes even engage in a little chit-chat. I'm a people person, so this is likely why. I also believe in treating anyone the way you would expect to be treated - it's the golden rule, after all!”

“I had a nice shopping experience at good will almaden road san jose. The staff there is so sweet. first of all, i got a great deal and find on a metal shelf (i had the match too it at home) then to top it off a nice lady.asked me if i would like her to take heavy shelf to the front so i could shop easier ( i forgot to ask the girls what her name was ) its either christina or Leslie that is what i was told by a staff member there. Then Stephen completed my purchase asked if i needed help out. i said no thank you and then he ran to hold the door for me. This place has good finds and the nicest staff.”

“Love stopping here when I can, some prices are good, some are really high. One super con is they mark directly on items with permanent market. Annoying to get off, sometimes it doesn’t come off and for real writing onto wood with marker? 2 thumbs down for permanent market. I do love the staff, they are also so helpful and bright.”

“Good place to thrift for cheap clothes and accessories. Items rotate in and out, so grab whatever you want before it eventually goes! They have specific sales depending on the color of the tag as well, so there's a lot of savings here :)”

“Easy place to drop off your old clothes donations. Can park in the parking lot though it's hard to find a spot there. tip: Receipt is via the QR code now so no more old school paper receipts.”

“This review is for donation only. I came on a Monday afternoon at around 1:30pm. There was no wait to donate. To donate, you have to drive behind the building and there will be a large area to self sort (clothes, linens, books, etc). I donated baby furniture such as jumper and bouncer and worker sorted that for me. The guy was very pleasant. I decided to donate here as Hope Thrift (closer to me) doesn't accept baby furnitures. Goodwill doesn't accept car seats though which expires. There is a QR code to scan for receipt.”

“Went in at 2:30p on a Friday and dropped off 2 boxes. There were 2 people there. One person to collect donations and another person to write the receipt. The person collecting donations was very nice and friendly. Drop off was very easy.”

“Great spot to drop off your donations. They are off of highway, which makes it easy to access store. And they have nice bins to drop off your stuff, making it easy to categorize and drop off the items. Staff is nice and attentive. Parking is ample but the plaza gets busy during peak hours as there are a lot of businesses nearby.”

“3.5/5 stars. The better goodwill on this side of town. Decently busy with customers. Turnover is good so I can always find some things I like. A medium sized store that doesn't take too long to get through but still manages to cram a lot in. Good organization. Employees mainly just man the cashier, open dressing rooms. and leave you alone. Pricing is higher for trendier items or well known brands, which is sometimes worth it, but there's a usually a cheaper alternative somewhere in the store. Last time I went they had a hand sanitizer stand but the sanitizer had a funky smell so you're better off bringing your own if you can. Overall, a solid goodwill that I probably will keep visiting. I'd say they're best for clothing.”
