Not only did she find some extremely rare bottles here, the owners were absolutely amazing and the most friendly people you could imagine. My wife ended up getting me a bottle of Blanton's gold and I picked myself up a bottle of Weller's reserve. Wish I would have found this place years ago!”
“I love their cold foods and absolutely love their hot foods. I get so sad in the mornings because i always tend to miss. Their hot foods. I wish they had more space for more veggie varieties but for the limited space they have I'm not complaining. The workers are always so kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. I greatly appreciate their wide variety of herbs, supplements and holistic items too!”

“This store is a pleasant trip anytime one needs to get groceries. They stock during the night, which is nice as you don’t get disrupted during your shopping trip. I came in to return some cough drops that I bought at another Safeway, no receipt or Safeway account. Danielle helped me out and exchanged them for another type of cough drop with no trouble.Minus a star because the gas station seems to have many pumps out frequently and also runs out of gas completely about once a month. This Safeway also is missing many goods and amenities others have. Coinstar is non functional as of today 12/13/23”

“Nice store. Not as busy as it can be.Hope we can get a full time barista at the coffee shop. I know it’s been tough all over- (Whole Foods closed their Coffee because nobody to work the coffee that day) Chocolate fish beans are one of our favorite. The white chocolate mocha is made nicely mildly sweet I think they use Ghirardelli chocolate. The Main location does.Using the App to get certain sales hasn’t been as user friendly as Safeway.Might want to monitor the hot case. The fried chicken is pretty tasty , we don’t eat much fried chicken but this one is hard to resist. Unfortunately today a guy did the 8 piece deal and I watched him pack about 15 pieces. Couldn’t even close the lid. He got a price tag from deli and headed straight to the self check out. Guy could nt even buy a drink. I would have 86him! It was about 12:45-1 ish.”
“My favorite grocery store in Placerville. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I use the online shopping and pick-up once a week. I have done this at a couple other stores and Raleys has been the best. They are always on time and communicate with you.”

“Highly recommend this place! I am grateful to have a nice cheese shop like this right at downtown placerville. Not going to lie, of course the price is somewhat higher than places like Whole Foods but it’s worth it as it’s not always I have the luxury to pick up my favorite cheese from Whole Foods before heading up placerville for a few days so this is a life saver when I need some good cheese!The owner Mary was a Bay Area transplant to this area and was super nice made the experience patronizing here even better”

“Came at 1:50AM and they were closed even though they are not supposed to close until 2:00AM. They ran over and opened the door and I was able to get the dog food I came for. Thank You Safeway for being the only store around here open late!”

“I had a horrible experience at the Placerville DMV this morning and then went shopping at Safeway. My cashier was the sweetest, friendliest person and really brightened my day. I didn't catch her name but I wish I did because I think she deserves something extra for such good customer service; although I think she was just being herself. She had the bigger Christmas lights necklace on.”

“I don't usually go to the Cameron Park Safeway, but my usual Safeway Pharmacy in EDH was out of a medication I needed right away. That store phoned my order ahead to the CP store and they filled it. The staff was great and the pharmacist gave me detailed instructions.Safeway = great pharmacy!”
“Walmart Placerville Auto Center is the best! Placerville Techs go above and beyond and are way nicer and easier to talk to (unlike their Sacramento counterparts).Recently I was in Sacramento when a tire on my car got punctured and couldn’t be repaired. West Sacramento Walmart Tech wanted to replace it with some “cheap brand” because they didn’t have the same brand tire (as what was in my car) in stock. The Tech didn’t know how to order the same brand or how I can get replacement with the same brand under their roadside hazard policy.I later spoke with Placerville Walmart Auto Center. Their manager said I can order the same brand tire on Walmart website and then when I come back to get it installed they would do the price adjustment under their roadside hazard policy. Walmart Placerville took ownership and resolved my issue unlike their Sacramento counterparts who didn’t seem very knowledgeable and wanted to pass the buck. Thank you to the Walmart Placerville manager and the techs for all your assistance in resolving my issue.”

The automotive shop staff Russ and Mateo went above and beyond with great service. I would like to thank them for doing such a great job and helping get back on the road today.
