“I was on a search for a new vet and had tried several good ones, but I really landed here for several reasons:- We have a diverse group of pets including 'exotic' pets, and knowing we can take them all here makes it easier to get settled.- Care and attention to each pet. I don't think there is a pet who comes in who doesn't get told they are the best, and fully looked over. Our cat hates the vet and usually avoids me for at least a day after taking him in - he was (almost) relaxed in the vet and had almost no recovery time after coming in here. It's a bit less chaotic than most vets, and I think that's a huge part of it. The inspection room was secure enough that I felt comfortable letting him explore and get comfortable - not something I can do at all vets.- They are knowledgeable but also treat you as if you're knowledgeable. I was handed actual research papers when I asked questions and I loved that.- They seem to care and make connections. My husband and I came in separately with different pets and they immediately made connections between the two of us.I highly recommend this vet and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with them.”
“I've been taking my dogs to Paws and Claws since 2014. One is now 13 1/2 and the other just a year and a half. The vet techs do a great job noting all of my concerns and questions. Everyone was, my family is so very grateful they were able to see us as soon as they did and that they do see ferrets even though they don't outright advertise it. Unfortunately my sweet baby girl was now necessarily beyond help but outside the likelihood of being able to lead a healthy life so we made the extremely difficult choice and eased her pain to the other side. He was treated with such love and kindness the day he had to stay at the office for testing. “So thankful for Dr Moody and the staff at South Mesa, our dog had to have a tooth removed and their equipment wasn't calibrated yet so they sent us over to an oral surgeon. Oh my goodness! The oral surgeon's estimate was astronomical. Our dog had to wait a bit, (a week or so) but at South Mesa they were able to help him greatly. During the procedure they discovered he needed additional teeth removed. I am so grateful to Dr Moody & the staff that helped our dog. I would highly recommend this Vet Hospital to others. They showed the dog & owners such great care. Our family is so appreciative them!”

“The Pet Wellness Clinic is staffed with kind, caring, and helpful staff.From the beginning of the experience to the end, this professional organization is a step above most. They do support rescue organizations and treat these pets with the same thorough care as a private pay client. We have gone from fostering to adoption of our pup and they do not overwhelm us with tests or charges that may not be necessary at this time. I have great trust in all of these folks. Dr.Kat is our doc , but I know they are all great. The vet techs are knowledgeable and really listen. I am thrilled with this clinic, even though it is a bit of a drive for me.”
