“Outstanding campground! We stayed for 3 nights during a cold snap in May, right before their official season started. 1 night in a Rustic Cabin and 2 nights on the campground side in our van. All 3 nights were wonderful experiences, even without the extra accommodations they have during the summer.Aside from this campgrounds beautiful mountain views, it’s quiet and there is a riverwalk that leads to the downtown area. It’s only about a 20 min walk before you’re hitting stores and restaurants. The employees went out of their way to get us early check-in for 2 of the 3 nights and were beyond accommodating and friendly every time we spoke with them. We couldn’t have been happier with the level of service.Basically, I can’t recommend this place enough and would give it more than 5 stars if possible. We live on the other side of the country, but next time we find ourselves in the Colorado Rockies this will be our first choice for RV campin. ♥️?️?️❤️Nearby activities: Ouray Hot Springs in a 10 min walk up the riverwalk that runs behind the campWalkability: Downtown Ouray is a 20 min walk up Riverwalk that runs behind the campNoteworthy details: On-site laundry. During their high-season they also have weekend breakfast and a restaurant.”

“Wonderfully quiet rooms (I asked for and was given a room facing west). Super close to the springs. Thank you Timber Ridge for the s’mores ??? . I will return to Ouray and choose the Timber Ridge Lodge for my hotel accommodations.”

“Thank you Brett for making our Honey moon great, for making us feel special and providing us with Champagne, and other yummies! And thanks for matching the price on your website. This place was very loud at night, and housekeeping wasn’t great, but overall we had an amazing view from our room, and they were very accommodating. Thanks again!Walkability: One block from Main Street”

“Discover the gem of a hotel that will take your breath away. You won't need a second chance to fall in love with the redone rooms that are impeccable in their cleanliness. The staff is unparalleled in their friendliness and helpfulness. Even in the last minute, they stepped up to help us after we had a bad experience at another local hotel. After we checked out, the hotel called us to let us know we had left something behind. This level of customer service is exceptional.”

“I can not speak any higher of this hotel. We were arriving late, around 2 in the morning, a representative called me, and texted me instructions on how to gain entry into the building and my room. She literally left the bedside lamp on for us.The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and cozy. The staff was exceptional! When we woke up in the morning we were in dire need of some coffee. I was walking back to our room when a staff member saw me trying to open my room door with a coffee cup in each hand, she promptly ran over to me to help open the door. While leaving we had a mechanical issue with our vehicle. A stranger stopped and aided us, it turns out that he was an off duty employee of the hotel.I am not exaggerating when I saw that you could not ask for better treatment or accommodations.”

“I was lucky enough to stay here while the owner was in town, a VERY nice and friendly man. Although all of you may not experience this as he is not always in town, while the owner is there, the hospitality is absolutely amazing. We wanted to grill some stakes but had no materials to do so. The owner personally went into town, bought us charcoal and lighter fluid, brought us some of his own plates and silverware, and was the most attentive and helpful person throughout the entire stay. If you ever get a chance to meet him, you are in luck!! Aside from that, the room I was in was very spacious and clean, the view and location is amazing, and unlike many lodges the hot tubs are open 24/7!! I will admit I was slightly disappointed by the breakfast, but I believe for what they charge for the rooms you are still getting quite a bargain. Overall, my experience was great and I am very satisfied and pleased with my stay. I do not wish to try any other hotel or resort in Ouray, The River’s Edge Lodge can consider me and my family long term and loyal customers.Rooms: I was in a larger room, so I cannot fairly speak for all rooms, but my room was very large and spacious and clean for its price. All rooms have easy hot tub access, parking, and a great view.Nearby activities: This lodge is located right in the center of the town, but still very peaceful. Every shop and store in town is a small walk away, not even worth driving. The view is incredible from most rooms, and the location is very convenient.Safety: All rooms are keycard access, and can also be dead bolted from the inside. I felt very safe and comfortable there. The community and location in general is a very safe and quiet area anyways!”

“This place is lovely, nestled in the mountains of the most picturesque town of Ouray. It was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated with the most gorgeous views of the mountains and river right off our own balcony. There is a beautiful walking trail along the river with incredible views everywhere you look. The continental breakfast needs improvement, but otherwise, an absolutely wonderful place and experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again!”

“Came for a night last week to celebrate Josephine's birthday. Balcony Room 204 was spacious with great light and a big sunny balcony. The spa sauna and hot tub were perfect. Dinner at the saloon outstanding. We nordic skied at Ironton, went to the hots springs pool in Town. The hotel is charming and the restoration was well done, retaining the character of the original structure. Good job all around.”

“My husband and I visited to celebrate our anniversary. I originally wanted to stay at Orvis, but they were booked. After careful consideration, we decided on Twin Peaks. I am so glad we did! We only stayed for one night, but enjoyed it tremendously. It was relaxing and a great getaway. The kiosk to check-in was quick and easy to use. It printed us a map of the facility with a star by our room. The staff in the lobby and pool area were all incredibly friendly. We stayed in a Queen Suite. The facility is outdated, but clean and comfortable. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. We were allowed to check-out at 12PM for $25 charge. The pools were beautiful! Vapor cave and sauna were a cool plus. Everything was clean and well maintained. Views were beautiful. The guests were quite loud at night, but the morning was more peaceful. Overall a wonderful stay for great price. We will definitely return and bring our family next time!”
