“We hosted our “western” themed holiday party at the Church Ranch Event Center in Westminster! The venue was absolutely perfect for this themed party! We had mechanical bull riding, calf roping, shooting video game, DJ, and line dancing, as well as some other activities. Everyone had a great time and loved the atmosphere of the venue. We had a catered buffet cowboy style buffet by Deshebrado, and the Smore add on package was a huge hit with the guests!Working with Brandon, Eric, Kim and their staff was easy, and they are a real pleasure to work with! The venue makes a perfect setting for a country style wedding; however, you should consider having your corporate events there. It is a spacious venue with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Simply beautiful! You will have an event to remember!”
“This was such a beautiful experience. The butterfly enclosure, the invertebrate displays, the conservation and education work, and the staff are absolute world class.We hosted our wedding here recently, with the ceremony inside the butterfly enclosure itself, including a butterfly release by one of the interpreters.The Wings Of The Tropics enclosure is such a beautiful environment, it was impossible to take a bad picture, and watching the butterflies float around was truly magical.Everyone from the venue was a delight to work with. Special shoutout to Maria, our event contact, for being an absolute angel, she and all the staff were accommodating, professional, and made everything from planning to the big day smooth as could be.The building itself was also very conveniently located, with hotel and food/drink options for our guests within walking distance.We have been several times on our own as well just to enjoy the space, and cannot wait to see their plans for a newer and larger building realized.I have heard only great things from anyone we talked to in the area, it seems like everyone from Westminster and Broomfield has been at least once, and everyone who has been raves about it.”
“Purpose & Length of stay: youth hockey games; 4 nightsPositives: Location was awesome. We were 4 min away from the rink and other places like Target and Dave & Busters. Breakfast was pretty good and well stocked. We had fresh scrambled eggs each morning. Hotel was clean and the lobby was nice and roomy. The games in the lobby were a nice addition as well as the ice scrapers (I forgot mine and of course it snowed). Bed was comfy. We had a mini fridge and microwave. I prefer smaller hotels when traveling for tournaments so we're not waiting for the elevators too long. My kid enjoyed the pool and the gym looked nice. We had pleasant interactions with the desk, bar, and cleaning staff.Negatives: The walls were a bit thin but luckily our neighbors were respectful and the noise died down after a certain time. There was some highway noise as this location backs into the highway and there's no wall separating it from the highway. The walls and picture in the bathroom could use a cleaning (shower, toilet, and sink were clean). The door stopper on the wall kept falling off. I agree with previous reviews about the bathroom door. It would be ideal to have a lighter solid door so the light isn't bothering people sleeping. Also, the shower has this metal part right underneath the shower head. Once turned off, it gets a bit noisy with the water dripping, another thing that might interrupt the sleep of others.Overall, we had a nice stay over Thanksgiving here. I would stay here again.”
“It’s a beautiful event centre . Inside was really warm eventhough the day was a snowy and cold day. I like the ambience of the place . They’ve got spacious parking too .”
“We had our 40th wedding anniversary celebration here and the food, staff and venue where absolutely fantastic to work with. The chefs created some custom cultural desserts for my husband. The wait and bar staff the night of the event went out of their way to make sure we had a successful event. We had so many compliments on the food and venue.”
“Went here for a birthday party and really enjoyed the band! There was plenty of space to dance and lots of options to sit by the stage. Pool tables are popular, but the layout works!Bathrooms were super clean and the staff was very nice.”

“Experience was mostly great except for one random patron stealing food from our party trays instead of simply asking. Music was meh to cool. A lot of fun. Service was good. Employees were friendly. Bar might be a bit of a wait”
