“Went on a morning walk and was recommended empanadas from El Nuevo Siglo. They are baked and have a wide variety of flavors. Empanadas were good. They are $3.25 each and were fresh and hot.This is in eighth Street in the tourist district, they have a market with Latin products, bakery, meat service and a sit down cafe.We took out.”

Store is immaculate, a/c is roaring, no squeaky or dirty carts; cashiers are friendly, quick & bilingual. Their guava empanadas at the front door have a local reputation. Very nice selection of cut flowers. This is a really well run, fully staffed store. And their accurate weight scale is part of my routine on my way home from the gym.”
