I had a lot of items from my husbands house to dispose of as he has passed away. Called the Humane Thrift store they came and picked up a variety of household items furniture etc. They were very efficient, on time and pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend if you have items to get rid of call them. You will be very pleased. Estelle Clark Michelson

I have been a shopper here for at least 10 years . The staff has always been helpful and kind. I happen to be there the day that what I would call a misunderstanding took place between an employe and customer.I was absolutely saddened by the behavior of the grandmother and mother. Why would you think that the actions you have taken by suggesting people not shop at this establishment is appropriate.?The animals that benefit had nothing to do with it. Furthermore your actions in the store that day certainly were not appropriate. Yes you did threaten to run an employee over when leaving.

Hey, I sincerely apologize to this establishment.? My initial review, which mentioned the staff kinda rushing customers out, so they can close early was mentioned for the Salvation Army thrift store, directly adjacent to this one.? The HS store staff are actually really laid back, and very helpful. It may not be as neat, and tidy as the place next door, but you have waaayyy mosre stuff to browse through...and I like that the proceeds go to help the local Humane Society animal shelter. Sorry for the confusion,? fun store to visit when you're thrifting, or looking for something specific.

Went in there today (October 5, 2023) and had my autistic grandchild with me sitting in a shopping cart. My grandchild is nonverbal but can make sounds, however a worker/volunteer named Cassie (if that’s truly her name) started making fun and disgruntled faces to the customers in line ?. My daughter saw her doing this this and spoke up and let that person know that it is totally inappropriate to mock a disabled child - or anyone for that matter!! Needless to say we will never patronize that place - and anyone that has a disabled person in there life, I’d advise you to do the same.

I was having to get rid of some items for when we started Hospice for my husband. I called at 2:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon and asked if they could stay open because didn't know if my son could be there before they closed at 3pm. The manager told me that he would stay till 3:30. He is a true American and a friend. My son made it before 3pm. I will be sure to give this business my items so they can make some money for all the unfortunate animals. Thank you for understanding and helping us Patricia Herrmann

Change your hours if youre gonna kick people out at 4 pm. Extremely distasteful. A older gentleman was asking for assistance and the worker said he need to go to the front or ask some one else and blew him off. Was rude and dismissive. She continued to shew me to the front of the store because the 'back' is closed where all the clothingn is, she couldn't be late for her babysitter as if its our fault were shopping. I made sure to check hours before ai came.. i was rushed to the line to sit in it for ten minutes. I was willing to buy more items but now I wont be back..

On average I come here at least once a week with my almost 2 year old. She’s well behaved and sets in the cart the whole time. They have the for planting outside on a table that says to bring them inside and they will tell you the price instead of actually pricing them. On this visit they had like 5 identical pots in different colors. They run about $5.00 each at Walmart brand new. I took one inside since I had my daughter, placed it in the cart and upon checkout asked how much it was. The cashier which i didn’t recognize compared to the usual cashier tol me it was 2.50, I asked her to ring me up for the other 4 at which point she told me to go outside and find a woman with a dog to ask if the price point was actually correct… keeping in mind that I have my 1 1/2 year old with me, a cart of other things I was purchasing, and a person behind me in line. There’s no way for me to do all of that with my hands full. So I told her never mind about the other planters - checked out what had already been bagged and went outside. I sat in my car while writing this review for over 10 minutes to see if the “lady with a dog” would become visible and I didn’t see her one time.. so the issue becomes that I was told a price, then told that as a customer I had to go outside and hunt down a vague person (woman with dog) to ask if it was actually the legit price.. all with someone behind me in line and my child in my arms…Horrible experience tbh. Most of the time I love it here

I used to come in weekly for their buy 3 get 3 deals. Last time I was in I purchased 12 items. 6 @ $4.75 and 6 @ $1.75. I was expecting to pay 3 @ $4.75 and 3 @ $1.75. I get my total and they charged me all $4.75. I was told that since all of my items were already on the counter that I could not take them back and do 2 separate transactions. I was overcharged $9. I paid and left. I decided I'm going to give them another chance. I go in and pick out 6 items, I asked if the fitting room is opened since it was last time I was in and they say no (no reason given) I put all items away except a beautiful doll. The doll should've been $2.68. I had to pay $5 because they have a credit card machine but won't run payments for less than $5. The lady looked me dead in the eye and said you can always donate your money to pay the $5 minimum. So I did because of who they represent (humane society). I will never go back after today. They have now lost all business from my entire family and all friends that used to shop there. We now go to brother's keepers a couple doors down.
