“Our friend recommended several restaurants, and we chose Catch 35 for it's menu choices. The restaurant had an unpretentious upscale, old-school feel, nothing super trendy. My parents would have been comfortable here. The food and service were excellent. While not inexpensive, I found it to be a solid value for the high quality. Dishes were prepared simply with high-quality ingredients. My son had the lobster roll, with fries. I had seared scallops on a bed of sauteed fresh spinach, and a tender short rib for my "surf and turf". Hardly adventurous dining, but a straightforward delicious meal. Our warm Sticky Toffee Pudding with a scoop of ice cream was the perfect sweet treat to finish. A great meal that could have been served in 1964, as well as 2024.”

Everything in the store is also ridiculously well priced. $20 juul pods in 2023 (although that is not helping me quit haha). A really great store with really friendly people. “Excellent service and food. This restaurant is one of those hidden gems in Chicago. It has a real Japanese authenticity to it with just a little touch of the Korean flavor with side dishes. Also, if you're a baseball fan you can see the pictures of the players or teams that's been there. The players even signed a few baseball as well for customers to see while you wait to get seated. In my opinion, this restaurant is definitely one of the best Japanese BBQ spots in Chicago.”

Osiel is a cashier who I see regularly he always is welcoming and helpful we need more employees like him ! I’m a regular customer and would still come back.”

“The lady working there is very nice and the store changed a lot in the last month and became more of a convenience store than ever! The atmosphere is very nice with the music in the store which has a wide and vast range of genres of music (including cumbia, hip hop, r&b, and music that makes you relax in general with nothing else to worry about) that me personally really enjoy listening to while I'm shopping and looking for things. Overall this store is a 10/10 and I really recommend this store.”
