“Very clean and nice staff. Would have given 5 stars but the recliner they advertised with the room had long since served its purpose.Walkability: Close to everything in downtown Nashville. Parking very convenient.”

“Loved this place... you're isolated from the town but not far away either. It's only about a 7-minute drive. Such a beautiful view from the back windows. The owners were so friendly and accommodating.”

“The Brown County Inn is such a lovely place to stay with thoughtful amenities all throughout the property. The staff is friendly and welcoming with fresh brewed coffee right at the front desk in the morning! The menus are well curated for bigger-city tastes. Rooms are simple, comfortable and clean. I can't wait to return with my family - rarely do I see playground equipment at hotels to help wear my little one out! There is something for everyone at this resort-style property.”

“Under new restaurant management , a lot of food that was on the menu before are no longer served. Still a good place to go and not pay the tourists rates for dinner.Parking: Plenty of parking.”

“We usually spend at least one weekend a year in Nashville, IN. We have stayed a few other places but so far, this has become our favorite. For the price of the room, you get an apartment, not a hotel room. Full kitchen. 2 baths. 1-2 BRs, (depending on what you book for.) Balcony. I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about when they mention noise from other rooms, but I have yet to hear any of the neighbors we have had. And I know I have had some because I have talked to them on the balcony. They do not do daily room service which I'm okay with reusing my towels if need be. I will say, they do not provide individual shampoo/conditioner, soap, lotion etc. There is a 3-in-1 dispenser in each shower area. So if you are like me and need special shampoo/conditioner, bring your own. But for the price you are, essentially, getting an apartment rather than a hotel room. There is a pool/hot tub that we have never used. And an outdoor common area that I have seen multiple families take advantage of. The staff is friendly/helpful. The handful of full-time residents we have met are also super sweet. The ONLY negative I can come up with is the stairs. If you have trouble walking stairs then this is not the place for you. You WILL be walking a ton of stairs if you stay here.”

“Unfortunately, the rooms have fell into deep cleaning needed. And just making sure the basics of daily cleaning the toilet and showers. When you come across a dirty toilet where the flushing couldn't clear the bowl, obviously it wasn't cleaned in the first place. Hairs in shower had me questioning if the shower was even cleaned. DUST caked on the ceiling fan. So it couldn't work. Not to mention heavy dust on lampshades and in corners of the room. It's a shame, bc it's a lovely building and right in the heart of Nashville.”

“Had a recent 2night/3 day stay for a work conference. The room we were in the lodge looked recently renovated/refreshed and very clean. The bed was a comfortable sleep. One of the beds had an issue with the frame and it was fixed the next day. The WiFi in the room (and the lodge as a whole) was pretty horrible and difficult to get work done on my laptop.”
