“This place is an absolute DELIGHT. From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed, and my goodness, they have the most beautiful clothes!!! They had a wonderful mix of higher-end and affordable items from a wide range of brands (Selkie, LoveShackFancy, For Love Or Lemons). You could easily find a casual weekend outfit here, or a formal outfit for a wedding, or a going-out look. It is clearly a labor of love and you can tell that a lot of thought and care has gone into every item and detail!”

“Like the best parts of New Orleans it is strange and wonderful and filled with surprises. We frequented this shop no less than 3 times in the same week and we never walked out empty handed. Some reviews suggest the prices are high-I did not find that to be the case. The variety was crazy, the quality of products solid and the staff were super kind and helpful. I am a bit annoyed (but I understand) the all sales final policy. I had bought a mask for my son and it didn't end up fitting him. So we bought another. Oh well. “I heard of this store through a friend who highly suggested it, I had never even seen it and I live 5 minutes away. I stopped in quickly today on a break from work and tried on a few things. I found a super cute top on sale but the dress I fell in love with was something I didn’t want to spoil myself with right after Xmas. I mentioned to the stylist to call me if it ever went on sale as I was leaving. And Gia, the stylist, text me about an hour later saying they added it to the sale rack. Now THIS is customer service. Everything in the store is cute and fun, and there is a wide variety of items. Pieces you could easily use for business casual or something to stand out of the crowd. I will definitely be going back to this shop.”

“There are countless shops in New Orleans, and a million different ways to spend your money. But SCSC is different and special—it’s a gorgeous boutique owned and curated by two local women who are warm and attentive and discerning, and who obviously care as much about their clientele as they do about the clothing, jewelry, and home decor they carry. Most of what you’ll see is designed by women from around the world, or it’s fabulous vintage (sometimes reimagined, Mardi-Gras style). Everything is fun and colorful and unique, and the jewelry is amazing. I’ll never forget when I was at a restaurant in Massachusetts and a woman at the next table over pointed to my necklace. “Is that a Saint Claude piece?” she asked. Then we had a little gush-fest about how much we both adore SCSC. I take all my visiting friends to this lovely little local shop, and they always leave with some new beautiful something—and a little more bounce in their step.”

“Defend New Orleans. A local boutique shop that really embodies the spirit and love of our beloved city. This carefully curated shop showcases clothing, books, hats, postcards, and so much more! This shop is perfect when you want gift someone a piece of the city or as DNO stands for "Defend New Orleans". I love the complimentary stickers they offer. If you collect lapel pins you really need to check out their collection. Recently snagged a "Felix The Cat" x DNO shirt and it's one of my favorite clothing pieces to date.”

She even designed her own NOLA logo and put it on a sweatshirt, making it unique to the large quantity of tourist shops along Decatur. Highly recommend popping in. There's surely something for everyone here!”
