“This is the best grocery store in Mount Airy. The prices are ok, but the sales are good and the rewards program is excellent. There are always plenty of employees, and plenty of cash registers open, each with an actual cashier. There are few grocery items I can't find here. It's a solid selection, typically well stocked. The produce and meat departments are well maintained, as well as the bakery and deli. Definitely my go-to grocery store in Mount Airy.”
“Grocery Outlet is a very interesting store! This store is new to me, just opening near me recently. It offers unique, interesting and diverse items - items I dont normally see in the traditional grocery stores near me. I try to shop here two or three times a month, mostly to pick up new and interesting things I dont have access to elsewhere. The last couple times, I have also started purchasing my basic needs here as well - milk, bread, meats, paper products, etc - as the prices are very good, as is the quality. I can recommend Grocery Outlet completely - you wont be disappointed!”

“I frequent Martin's Giant various times each month. One of the associates, Daniel, who works at the Customer Service desk and have waited on me at the checkout register is AWESOME!!! He's EXTREMELY mannerable, kind an attentive to the customers and their needs. Even when shopping and he may walk by, he'll give a warm, beautiful smile and say hello.”

“I had a great experience here. The store is nicely laid out for someone with celiac, the produce looked fresh and then immediately there are frozen and not frozen gluten free items. Easy! Also, I couldn’t find split peas and asked an employee- he was very helpful and also checked back in with me to ensure I found them. It was a very nice experience. I will shop here again while I am in town visiting family.”
“Staff are awesome service. This place is a guick grocery store. That severe hot and cold food. A lot like 7-11. But bigger with more to offer. I would recommend this store to anyone who is quickly shopping. Or in need of something that u forgot from the supermarket. Good place to pick up lunch on the go.”

“Safeway has everything anyone could want in a supermarket. The prices are a little higher than their competitors. However, you can save if you become a member and also use "Digital only Offers." Some stores offer Grocery Delivery! So, if you utilize all the gimmicks offered, you dont have to shop around.”

“I can no longer drive so I use the pickup for my wife and 90% of the time, there are items not found. This is for coffee, bread and some other items. Also, they have a Kosher isle and they changed some of the things I have purchased in the past they no longer carry. Manischewitz Gefilte fish in the jelly, now they only carry it in water which taste nasty.”

“This is one of our fav Walmart to go to in hoco area. Always well organized and most of time Clean. Well stocked for seasonal occasions. Convenient location, ample parkings, Close to restaurants, pharmacies, dry cleaners, coffee shop and other amenities.”
“Decent walmart. It's not very big compared to other walmarts, especially the grocery section. A big plus for us is the auto center, as we drive a good bit and are pretty regularly needing oil changes. The people working the auto center are friendly and knowledgeable and every time we have gone(so far), they have been able to get us in immediately and it only takes 20ish minutes to get done, and done correctly. The self check out area is small but is OK. The customer service desk always has helpful, friendly people as well.”
“Perfect store and location for anything I need. The store always has whatever item I need in a convenient location. My son needed new shoes and my daughter needed makeup, and walmart had both! It's always clean and the workers are so nice. Favorite spot when i need something!”
“Probably the best Walmart I’ve been to (which generally isn’t saying a lot), but the daytime employees are always very nice. The store is very clean and I’ve even seen someone dusting the shelves while I was there. The store is very large and has a good selection, and the clientele is very normal too (no people of Walmart here).”
