“I have been going to Sheena’s for years. Like most small grocery stores, Sheena’s is convenient but as expected also a little pricier with many items than the big box stores. The reason I give them 5 stars are many. One is they have a great selection of quality meats and their prices are more than fair. I know when I meat shop here I leave the store with more great cuts of meat than I planned on buying.I recently did a little larger purchase of groceries here so left the store with many bags. When I got home and unpacked I could not find an item I had paid for. The next day I stopped back at the store and explained at the service desk what happened and they said they would give me my money back or if ai wanted I could go pick out another item and they would not charge me. They were extremely kind and friendly about this.I see employees ask physically limited customers if they need help loading their vehicles and often see them do this.I know I can always count on a good experience at Sheena’s.”
“Love this quaint family owned orchard that does not in the least bit feel commercialized. We have been coming here for years we love their you-pick for strawberries and apples. Their cider,pies and donuts are divine ! One special time my daughter and I found a hummingbird trapped in a store lying on the ground he looked severely dehydrated and ready to give up. Remembering that Verellen’s had strawberry slushies we stopped in and grabbed one thinking the red would help our sad looking friend. With a straw and some patience, It did ! We nursed it to health and within an hour he flew away thanks to the rejuvenation from the cider slush!!!! Such a cool experience that we will never forget ♥️”
“Great place to grab items needed in a hurry. In and out. No lines, parking is plentiful, the store is very clean, and the shelves are organized. The bottle return area is always clean, and the recycling machines have never been down for me, at least.”
“I had a friend recommend Nitsches. Some of the best turkey, sausages, and pork butt I’ve had. Prices are very reasonable. Happy to give them my business instead of Meijer or Kroger.”
“On thanksgiving eve.. i was lots of miles away from friends and family picking up a grocery order at gordon food. While loading my jeep the wind shut my door and locked me out. With only 2hrs left to shop & 20% battery i was so in trouble. The staff allowed me to wait inside store, they let me use the iPhone charger!! They were so helpful and nice from the time i walked in to the time the tow company unlocked my jeep!! The manager put my items in freezer that I didn’t load in jeep! I must say i was shopping in the right place and without them being so kind I would’ve had a nervous breakdown!I appreciate the service and thoughtfulness of me being left in cold for hours!”
“This hidden gem is new to us, and everything about it is awesome. The food was amazing and fairly priced. The staff was kind, patient, and friendly. This store is full of ethnic food treasures. They were so nice explaining and answering our questions. I (we) can't wait to go back!”

“Wow is all I have to say! Seriously though, really nice people at the counter, and amazing food! We had the calzones and the bread with the garlic dip(or as they call it "Crack Sauce") makes sense to be called that, very, very good! We will be coming back soon!”
“I would give this place ten stars if I could. Not only is it a clean and great place, it reminds me of my childhood. The burek and pitas are amazing and taste very similar to my baba's homemade ones. The sweets are also amazing. The Milka cake and the cupavci have to be my favorite out of all of them, but regardless, they are all so good. Again, it reminds me of my childhood and has everything I need for my home.”
“Always a great place to visit to purchase produce. They have large, fresh and very reasonably priced vegetables. While produce is priced well, most other products are quite costly. Quality is very good, but expensive. They do offer a wide variety of products, meat, fish, dairy, bakery, deli, wines, etc. They have freshly prepared meals, too. All and all, it is a good place to visit, but expect to pay higher prices for everything with the exception of produce.”
“Good prices. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. That is not meant to sound semi negative. I live in reality and understand there is a problem finding help these days, let alone 'good' help. Meijer is doing reasonably well considering we are living in a time when youth aren't interested in work or responsibility.”

“Update: They did finally reach out and ended up catering our event. Food was really good but I wish the sandwiches were all put on separate dishes so we could label them. The vegetarian sandwiches relaxed in with the sandwiches with meat. Overall everything tasted good.I will admit that I contacted them close to my event to cater. I was told that it wouldn't be a problem and to pick out the menu. I did that and submitted it and never heard from them again. Four days before my event now and I have to find a new caterer. Apparently Amanda is the manager of that department and I can't go above to complain to anyone. If you don't want to take the job don't say you can do it.”
“A little expensive for my pocket. But a nice store. First visit to the store with my elderly client. The cashier was a bit rude and impatient with her, until I walked up. Overall employees were welcoming especially the door greeter.”
“I come mostly for the hardware section. Prices are a little higher then a bigger box store, but they are close and service is great. So I ll pay a little extra.Have plenty of small odd ball things you might need.”

“When I was there today there were two nice employees. It was Jacob and Karen helping customers. There was another employee that was stocking shelves. I told her that the back door was still open and she answer me bad in not a good way. I just did not say anything back to her and kept on shopping. But everything I go in Dryden store Karen and Jacob is very nice and professional. The Almont store does not keep there shelves stock and employees are nice. The manager at Almont is not nice to some customers but at Dryden the store manager is nice to everybody. That could be why more people are shopping at Dryden then Almont.”
“Great little store, Unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for. Being Super Bowl sunday, I wasn't surprised that the dessert I was looking for was already sold out. Staff is always friendly and it's very convenient”
“This is my go to Kroger. The store is the perfect size and is organized well. You can get in and out in quickly with everything you need! There are always plenty of registers open and rarely a wait time to check out. The staff is also super friendly! It's nice to see familiar faces each week. Keep up the great work ?”
“Catering service was phenomenal! We ordered catering service for 50 four days in advance and were so impressed with how easy it was to order and pick up, and with the quality of the food. Would absolutely order from them again or recommend to others!”
“Inside Papa Joe's - I was reluctant at first but Ali convinced me he made a great shawarma. They are premade and ready to go in the deli window but they can also make it while you wait. Great flavor, tender chicken and simply delicious - I don't have to travel 20 minutes to Pita Cafe anymore!”
“Good selections but not a fan of self checkout and no other option being available at certain times. You should always have a Cashier... or... offer patrons 20% off the total for doing a Cashier's work. I'd even take 300 fuel points for purchases over $150 :)”

“Recently moved to Washington Twp. and this Kroger's is slowly becoming my favorite. While it's not as big as the other 2 nearby, it is sufficient for all my Kroger needs. The store is clean, organized and the staff that I've encountered is always friendly. A shout out the the head meat guy who ALWAYS says hello to me and asks me how I am today. Self check out employees are are super friendly also. Speaking of self check out, this location recently added 6 more self check lanes. I've never had a long wait checking out, not even on the weekends but now the small wait will be even less with more lanes added. What I love most about this location is the many managers special sections. I've scored so many amazing mark down it's truly like hitting the grocery lottery! Check out my pictures for all the fabulous finds. My favorite discount was when I found 4oz of smoked salmon pastrami for only $1.99! This stuff is regular price $8.49 and I got it for under $2! Yes, I cleared the cooler and bought all 4 packages they had. This location is awesome for some deep discounts. For that reason, along with the friendly employees and quick checkout, I'll continue to come here weekly, if not more. Definitely recommend this Kroger's.”

“New Meijer to the area. We live near the Meijer on Hall Road and Hayes near Lakeside Mall but decided to check out this newer Meijer. The parking is odd but then again the store is shaped like a triangle so it's all laid out differently. My mom can not walk but a few steps so I always try to get handicap parking. It was Friday at 1pm and all but one of the handicap parking spots was taken. I slowly went around a corner as a mother and child were walking near the rear of my vehicle, and made my way to the one handicap spot when someone literally flew into it! They quickly bounced out and went into the store. Um, OK. I did find a spot somewhat close to the handicap spots. I LOVE that they had multiple, fully-functioning scooters! What a relief not to have to hunt down a rickety, barely charged one of two scooters situation that I face EVERY...SINGLE...TIME I go to the Meijer's on Hall Road. I rode a scooter out to our car and mom got on. I also loved that there were plenty of small shopping carts. The isles are large and very clean. The produce is fresh and plentiful. There are a lot of extra food items to choose from that you won't see in other grocery stores. I did notice the absence of the toys, sports and garden areas. This is a very large, well-appointed, attractive food store. They are located at the corner of 24 mile and Hayes in Macomb Township, MI.”

“This is our favorite Kroger in the area. We find that the produce is more often fresher than Meijer and the lines are way shorter. We have come at what should be busy times and we have never had to wait for a self scan checkout. We also love what we call the "cheese bin". Sometimes you will find cheeses on sale but mostly it is smaller pieces and they are all under $5. You can try different types of cheese without buying a big block and see if you would like it or even just get a small amount of a fancier cheese for less money than the bigger block. The store Is always well stocked and very clean. I can always find what I am looking for and even love the Kroger brand products. They have some great organic options for cheaper than brand names.”
