“Five stars for what it is, maybe 4.5 if you're looking for..."more". But this gym excels in the adage less is more. This gym is a leg workout paradise. A pair of squat racks, a deadlift area, a hack squat machine, leg press, kickback, curl extension etc all. It's small but well spaced out. I'm not saying it's ONLY legs, just if you are looking for leg work, where other gyms overlook leg day, Pearl AF is truly that, a pearl People who come here should expect, and dare I say the inanimate gym EXPECTS you to work out hard and heavy. It's fantastic to get that pump in which you are barely able to crawl to your car after. That's the kind of gym this is.I'd say if you're in the area and looking to get a serious lift in this is the gym to join and on those off days you want some bells and whistles you are a short drive to one of those more... cosmopolitan gyms, if you will. That's the bonus of Anytime fitness. A hard hitting base gym keeps you honest though, just sayin.If you're not serious about lifting, I'm sure one of those other gyms will be fine for you ?”

“I love this gym. Its the first gym I've ever been a member of, but I've been a guest at several. I like that its 24 hours, and the rules are lax. My issue with planet fitness is that they claim to be judgment-free but have a literal alarm to publicly shame people for doing anything they judge as not ok. The other members have all been really cool, and willing to help with whatever you could need help with. There's a genuine culture of comradere at this gym, and I've only had positive experiences with the regulars in the A.M. and P.M. the one review below me complains about the bathrooms in the yard, but when that part of the gym is called "the yard" i don't understand the issue there. As far as wanting the staff to do more, they were hiring a desk person at one point and I asked what the pay was, and that's why the employees aren't going above and beyond as this person may have been expecting. It's understandable if this gym can't afford to pay It's staff what would be reasonable for them to achieve whatever standard that person wants, and that's why my rating is still 5 stars. It is what it is. If it would cost me extra, I'm happy with the way this place is operating now.”
