Brandon rocks. He's the reason I gave five stars. That's all. Space is kept clean, stocked, and other employees are also kind.

You can check out my Twitter steveconsultsp1, Instagram @herbert6313 and YouTube: Steven Herbert and you will see I have been Promoting the Mills Park area of Carson City FOR FREE and the Manager here has been Rude from the Start even after spending $40 on Gas. This morning I came with a bowl to clean asking if he got to the Carson City Revival Car Show and the Manager starts complaining about me bumping into a Customer ( I bent to get something out of the Microwave and he had slipped up behind me and I apologized), etc. I stopped him and told him to Stop, I'm Leaving and won't be back.

I walked in to grab a couple of small things and all I hear at first is this obnoxious guy working behind the counter who can't stop dropping the F bomb. Being uncomfortable I decided to check out and leave. I ran my card through and it said "approved" on the machine on my side, the same f bomb dropping, very rude and childish worker behind the counter told me it was denied on his side, but couldn't provide me anything to show that. In fact the receipt he showed me said "approved". Instead of trying to figure out with me what could have happened he got very insulting and told me I needed to learn how online banking worked..... This after I went out to my car and brought back my phone that showed that a transaction had gone through Jackson's. Marty needs some serious courses in how to speak with customers, how to have a vocabulary free of the F bomb and how to just generally treat people with respect instead of being insulting and rude. Obviously there's an issue between my card and the store's system.... Mr. obnoxious just had no desire to try to figure anything out. I lived down the street from this store for many many years... No I'm remembering why I quit going there

Great location to pull into and get gas. However, after we swiped our card the pump automatically charged us for gas (we hadn't even pumped anything). Needless to say these pumps are pre-loaded to charge you more. I wouldn't use this location until that is changed.

I went inside this store Sunday, March 31, 2019. I have also been here a number of times for gas (Chevron). This location is at the northwest corner of East William Street and Rand Avenue. I was in the area so I thought I would stop on in. I at first was reluctant, as there was a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk next to the parking area. I know from my experience in California, they usually accost you when you park next to them, usually asking for money (though a homeless woman in Washington, DC once asked me for a "chicken" when I parked by her). So I parked at a gas pump to avoid him and proceeded to wash my windshield. There was not much fluid left in the squeegee container. Then as I approached the store, I saw him get up and stare into the store through the window, with his hand over his eyes to block the sun. He went in then exited 20 seconds later and walked away. I went in and noticed they have slot machines right in the front, as many convenience stores in Nevada do. This will come as a surprise unless you are from here or are used to the state. This is a very small convenience store, much smaller that their sister store on East Fifth Street. They didn't have as many hot, ready-to-eat foods, like hot dogs or pizza, and had a smaller drink dispenser section. There were not as many aisles too for food. They had one restroom, a gender-neutral one, which was locked, and you had to ask for the key to use it (the ones at the Jacksons on E. Fifth St.) are open). There were two employees: a younger man and woman at the cash register. The man went outside and the woman was busy with her phone. I said nothing to them and they said nothing to me. I learned as I was leaving they are open seven days a week from 5 AM to midnight. I give this store four stars, only because of the homeless man hanging out in front and because its small size.

I usually get pretty good service here! I always work with the store manager Janet and she is just such a assett to your team! Man, she is the perfect girl for the job! I usually get my two redbulls and bananas and she is already prepared and waiting for you! Not the other way around!!
