They were knowledgeable and friendly . They had the battery we needed, which wasn't easy to get without ordering! We didn't know that, actually TIRES PLUS was our 3rd shop and they had 2!! Very happy customer ?

Put my tires on quickly and as scheduled but no time for alignment due to staff leaving at 3 pm for the weekend. Not flexible..

Was visiting a friend up in Minden, from the Bay Area. My Lexus RX350 would pull to the right and there was a shudder when the vehicle reached 30-40 mph. Explained this to the service manager. 4hrs. later, he called and said the vehicle was ready. When I picked the vehicle up, he said that the alignment measured to the manufactures specs. Furthermore, he told me that they rebalanced the front tires. When I retrieved and drove the vehicle, it still pulled to the right and the shudder was still there. It's as if they didn't do anything but charged me $150. When I got back home, I took the vehicle to a local tire shop. They looked at the spec sheet readout that I had from Tires Plus. They confirmed that nothing had been done and the toe and steer ahead, were off. Furthermore, they said that the front tires were badly unbalanced. Vehicle is now much improved. Tires Plus did absolutely nothing for $150!

Twice! I've taken two different trucks there for balance and rotate. Twice I was told I need new tires. I always buy my tires in October and my last balance is now. The tires were above the tread bar in both cases. In one case at least 30% tread left. I get it, you want to sell new tires, but hey, how about you let me wear the old ones out first.This practice seems a bit sketchy.Thanks. Not a customer anymore.

Chuck Matthews is a saint. My family and I were traveling from Tahoe back to Pasadena and got a flat by Topaz Lake. The closest tire store was back in Gardnerville and we hobbled back by filling up time and time again with air. Chuck took a look at the new tire (less than 6 months old) and noticed that it is generally not repairable. A trip to the Pep Boys in Reno was the offered solution since it would be covered under road hazards. With twin 3-year-olds and a dog in the back, I explained that we were going south and couldn't afford to make the trip north. Chuck went to work and instructed his team to try their best to help us out. After a short time, we were given the great news (and a huge staple) that the tire had been fixed. Chuck did it!We were in a desperate situation and Chuck's dedication to the customer experience not only fixed our tire but fixed our summer vacation. We appreciate him and his team and look forward to stopping by to say hello the next time we are in the area.

Tires PlusThe absolute worst place and experience I've ever had purchasing tires. I went on-line three days ago and ordered four new tires for my truck. The tires came to almost $2,000. plus a front end alignment as needed. I set up an appointment for Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 1:00pm. The order was accepted and I received a confirmation for my appointment. I arrived early (as requested by the website) and was told that there was no record of my purchase or appointment. I then showed the employee my purchase order and confirmation on my cell phone. He began complaining that the Tires Plus web software doesn't "talk" to their store software (stated this happens "all the time") and that he didn't have my information. The employee was finally able to find my purchase (apparently from the Tires Plus website). When he confirmed my purchase via my credit card and photo ID, he asked if the address he had on file was current. Don't know where the address came from by I haven't lived there in 20 years and another state. He filled out the work order and I told him that I had checked the "will wait for the service" box on the website. I didn't have any other transportation so I told hime that I'd wait. After waiting for an hour and a half (and sitting in the waiting area not 20 feet from the employee), I got up and looked outside and saw that my truck was still parked where I'd left it. When I inquired about it, I was told that they "probably" wouldn't get to my truck until 4:30pm. I told the employee that was unacceptable and that's when he told me that all of his "service technicians were assholes" and did what they wanted. He told that we could set up a new appointment. When I agreed, he mentioned next Monday (July 17). I explained that if it wasn't tomorrow (because I have to leave town) that I'd just go to Costco for tires. He then said "how about Saturday", I explained that Saturday was not tomorrow and that I would not be available. The employee then booked me for tomorrow at 1:00pm. He said that he guaranteed my appointment tomorrow because he used his computer and not Tire Plus's "piece of shit software". As I walked out I asked avoid my appointment was actually guaranteed. The employee let out a little laugh and said "sure...maybe". This company or at least this branch should go out of business. There is no professionalism or customer care. The employees apparently don't get along and are rude. I will keep my appointment tomorrow because I've already purchased the tires through Tire Plus but this is the last time I will ever do business with them again.UPDATE OK, an update to my update. My new appointment was for 1:00pm today. Arrived about 20 minutes early and was assisted immediately. Since the work order was processed yesterday and my order was paid online, my truck was immediately taken inside. Did not have an opportunity to sit down when a man came out and introduced himself as "Chuck", the manager. He asked to walk outside to talk as there was another customer in the waiting area. Chuck apologized profusely. Told me that his name is on the business and that he was thoroughly embarrassed by what had happened yesterday. I wrote a complaint to Tires Plus Customer Service last evening and apparently Chuck had seen it. He told me that he left a business meeting early to talk with me when I can in for my appointment. He said that he could not get in to personal matters but said the issues were being addressed. Chuck was very professional and said that he'd see what he could do for compensation. I was not really looking for any compensation but his gesture was appreciated. I spent about an hour and a half for my service which was good considering I had four new tires mounted, balanced and put on my truck. Chuck told me that my front end was slightly out of alignment (which I suspected) and that he would perform the alignment free of charge. As I was process

So we have taken our truck & car in multiple times for tires and oil changes here with appointments. Id say 1 out of 9 visits they actually got our vehicle in close to our scheduled appointment time. Today was last time we take our vehicles there. We had scheduled a 10am oil change appt. at 3 they call & say that they can't get to it today. The desk person said that they had 3 other cars ahead of us that took longer than expected. That's literally 5 hours that they couldn't do an oil change. I mean come on why make a oil change appt if most of the time you are going to keep the vehicle there for most of the day?! They didn't offer any good reason for this just like in the past & they didn't seem to care that we were inconvenient by this.

Best customer service. The men at this shop are nice, genuine workers. I have been here a few times, knocked out tires, oil, sparks plugs. Even if Tires Plus costs a but more for oil changes than doing it myself the personalities here is worth the extra cost to 1 not do it myself and 2 kick back enjoy some coffee and watch TV while waiting.Services: Tires

I called for a phone quote on tires and was provided that quote. My husband called to confirm the price and was told the same amount. When we went to order the tires, we were told their was a computer software issue, and the amount for the tires was increased by $400+ dollars. No real apology or desire to make this mistake correct. This company would not stand on their original phone quoted price. We will not due business with them in the future and warn others of this dishonorable business practice.

I was told by the people who installed my new tires that I needed a front-end alignment, so I scheduled an appointment with Tires Plus.After checking my alignment they determined that I did not need a front-end alignment, and they couldn't see charging me.It was very much appreciated that they didn't charge me, even though I took some of their time.I will have to say this...If you go there you'd better get there early because there is "limited" parking, and they are very busy.Also, when I asked people on the "neighborhood" website the question as to who should I go to for a front-end alignment, it was unanimous Tires Plus.
