“Best Vet i have ever been to! They care very much about your pet and do their best to care for them. They treat them as if they are their own! All of the staff are absolutely wonderful too ,every single one of them care for your pet as if they were caring for their own! And I love that about them because my Gracie is my everything!!! DR Seth Briggs is Awesome!! He tries everything under the sun to solve any weird issue I might have ,and he listens to your suggestions too and I love that he will try things you suggest because he says you know your pet. The care he gives my Gracie is above and beyond and I know he gives the same time care and affection to others that come in to! I will NEVER bring my girl anywhere else!!! : My pug Gracie loves him!! And loves going to "The doctor" she doesnt run and hide and that tells me how much they care for her and love her or she wouldnt want to go!! The staff is great too!! I highly recommend them if you dont bring your pet there your MISSING OUT ON TOP NOTCH CARE!!”
“I had to find a vet for my brother’s cat. My brother is 84 and has some dementia. His cat, Elad, had never been to a vet before and it was obvious he was not well.South Shore took Elad on without question. Elad was very sick and Dr. Kretow was wonderful with him. He was very compassionate, and took the time to explain everything and answer any questions we had. I really can’t thank him enough. Everyone there was wonderful. I would recommend this practice and Dr. Kretow in a heartbeat.We ended up losing Elad from cancer but he will be in our hearts always!”

“Dr. Chadwick, and every staff member we encountered, was wonderful with our nervous dog. Dr. Chadwick took her time talking with us.... we were nervous too. We had plenty of questions, concerns about new medicines, the lab work, the prognosis for our fur baby. Dr.. Chadwick treats the pets as if they were hers.. The new facility is large, open, clean and inviting. Would definitely recommend Dr. Chadwick and Highland Animal Hospital for your regular veterinarian.”

“I've been bringing my cats and ferrets here for a few years at least. My dog was going to another vet because he has a lot of anxiety and his previous doctor knew how he was. I didn't want to switch him over. Unfortunately his previous place wasn't reliable for getting a timely appointment when needed so I decided to switch him to LAHC because I've always been able to get appointments for my other pets when needed. I was anxious myself bringing him to a new place. He doesn't like other dogs and he gets really anxious when staff try to touch him. I explained my concerns to the staff and everyone was extremely helpful. I really love bringing my animals to see Dr. Jin. I never feel rushed when expressing my concerns to her. She takes the time to communicate with me. Listening and in depth explaining. She also understands times are rough financially and we always come up with a plan to keep my pets healthy and trying to stay in budget. I've lost a few pets to old age and illness over the past few years and Dr. Jin has helped make the process as smooth as possible. She also gives her honest opinion to help make the decision when it's time. It's a hard decision to ever have to make but I always trust her.”
“I had always taken my birds here. They are very professional and know exactly how to handle birds. My conure is 7 years old and this is his first time going to a very. He desperately needed his nails trimmed. I thought for sure he'd be so stressed he wouldn't talk to me for a week... nope... he talked all the way home like nothing happened.”

“I brought my cat here for some tests, as he was having some issues, and I wanted to make sure he didn't have any crystals in his urine. The staff were friendly and efficient. They did a great job communicating and letting me know what the test results were and what they meant. They also took the time to lay out all the pricing before they did anything, and they trimmed his claws for free, too! It turns out my cat was afraid of a curtain between the main part of the house and the basement, where his litterbox was. Big relief, but I'm glad I came here and made sure he was ok. Their pricing is quite reasonable, too. I appreciate that they exercise their rights as a private business to eject people who are being obnoxious and making other clients and staff feel uncomfortable. That one star review down there actually sold me on coming here, lol!People, vets and vet staff end up taking so much abuse. Please be kind to them and respect them, OK? Really. It's such a hard job. They really do want to help animals. They deserve to work in a safe environment, and don't deserve to be the target you take all your pain out on. Hey, clinic staff? I see you. You rock. Thank you for all you do. As an aside, the flower garden they have out front is just lovely.”

“This vet office has been the savior to my cats and care for them in the way every cat owner wants for the last four years. They have cared and listened to every need, complaint, worry, concern, etc and have addressed them in the most open and honest ways to ensure the owners know what is needed for their pets. You can tell the staff love pets. First vet I have had in a long time where pet care was about pets and not money. Thank you.”

“My poor pup had an emergency in the middle of the night (around 1am) and every emergency vet within 3 hours of me was full and wouldn't see him. This place was full but still worked him in and we're great! Very friendly staff and took good care of my baby! Would definitely go again if needed (hopefully not!)”

“After finding out that my long time vet's office is no longer a vet's office(only boarding now after losing their doctors) and calling around frantically all morning, Shop City Animal Hospital was able to get my cat in right away today. Dr. Danbois, the front desk receptionist, and the vet tech were all wonderful. Dr. Danbois was not only thorough, but spoke in a way that I could understand. She answered questions before I could even ask them. I love that they put aside sick visits each day for times when you can't wait weeks for a visit. Highly recommend. I will be transferring all my pets over here! Thank you to your team for finding my baby some relief today!”

Although we were twenty minutes late because my cat resisted going into the carrier, they still accepted us (it wasn’t very crowded on a Tuesday). Everyone was so helpful including the check-in lady and the vet. They answered all of my questions. It was a quick visit and cost me only slightly over a hundred bucks.”

I called them before showing up and they reassured me that they can help my sweet boy and help us with aftercare. When I arrived they brought me right to a room with my sweet baby boy. They explained to me the way things would work, the services they offer, and ways to help us cope. They helped my baby get to the rainbow bridge and didn’t hesitate or judge us. 100% recommend this place. Clean, great staff.”
