I went here a few months ago to get a couple pieces of mine cleaned and repaired. I also purchased a new chain for a pendant of mine and the employee helped me decide on a good thickness for the chain. Staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The pricing was actually very affordable for all that I had done, and they had my order ready for pickup a couple days later as scheduled. I recommend this jewelry shop.

I came here and put a down payment on a chain they didn't have the length I wanted and said they'd order, and a pendant that was in the window. That happened on August 1, 2018. Then a few days ago I called their number and it says that the number is not hooked up and no mailbox is set up to receive messages. This is the 718.507.0280. They told me someone would call in about a week, after about three weeks, I tried to call and that's what happened. This morning, I tried again, and the same ordeal. It seems like one can only go in person. They also don't give cash or credit back. So , I hope my deposit isn't lost. I'm really disappointed that they don't reach out to the customer and that when I try to reach out to them they're unattainable. Seems like a shady business. I hope this review helps them to realize my frustration and respond. My invoice number is 0443. The DCA number is 2068341. Please give me a call and leave a message if you don't reach me directly. Oh, and I also tried texting their number. My texts went through, but no responses were given.

Got my battery replaced on my watch. Super quick, reasonably priced, and courteous service. As I waited, I looked around at their jewelry and some of the pieces were quite nice. Would definitely go back for all my watch repair needs.

Reasonably priced service and honest! I brought two watches for battery replacement, and the guy told me that one of them didn't need it. I thought my Citizen EcoDrive watch needed a battery replacement because it didn't seem to hold a charge anymore. However the watch guy told me it just needed two days worth of light charge. He placed it under a light source for a few seconds and winded it to the correct time and date. He then changed the battery of my other watch and just charged me $5.

In and out in less than 10 minutes for a battery replacement. Ridiculously cheap, makes me incredibly glad to live in Queens. Very friendly service. I will definitely be back!

Not many true watch repair places are left anymore. Some advertise they repair watches but really don't and send the watch out to who knows where. I had a watch that I thought needed just a battery and stopped into a jeweler in Long Island who replaced the battery, after struggling and scratching the back of the watch, and still it wouldn't work. That jeweler didn't act like she knew what she was doing so I wouldn't leave it with her. When I got back to Woodside I went to my usual repair place who seems to have retired. I found Ochoa Jewelry a few blocks down further on Roosevelt Ave. The place is family owned and run, and the people are wonderful. It's a small store but they have all the equipment and expertise to do the job. After taking off the back of the watch (with no effort. He had the tools he needed), and testing the battery, which was good, he put the watch on a magnetic machine and using what looked like electrodes, tested the watch to make sure it was capable of working. Getting the result that it was, he told me it needed a good cleaning but give him a week to do it. It's a busy store. He called me a week later and I picked up the watch. It works perfectly and the additional beauty is it is warranteed "if ever it stops working". That's right..."ever"!!! For $30. this is the best deal and expert work I've gotten in many years. I highly recommend Ochoa Jewelers...especially when this kind of knowledge is rare to find as so many people are discarding watches for cell phones. Ochoa Jewelers is a gem I will recommend to everyone. Done

I went to Ochoa Jewelry to replace a battery and band on my Marc Jacob's watch because the other well-reviewed watch repair shop on Roosevelt Ave was unexpectedly closed. The young man at Ochoa's counter was very nice, I was helped right away and he charged me $13 total ($5 for battery and $8 for the band). He assured me the band was genuine leather, which it smells like, but I'll wait and see if it wears down in a few weeks. He added 2 new holes to the band and cleaned the watch face, bezel and crevices without extra charge (as expected). I plan on returning to Ochoa to have some charms added to a bracelet. All in all, I recommend trying them out!
