I like Unique because unlike other [unnamed] places they take most items. My time is not to be wasted and as an organizer, I need to be able to drop and go. I don't want to be left with things in my hand that are not accepted.I have never had an issue with the staff. Truly most of them seem like they aren't the warmest but also I nearly never notice them anyway. And if I ever need help they are respectfully responsive and helpful.

The staffs are really really really disrespectful. We donate home stuffs, most of things they selling as new price. Some of them are more than new price. I request everyone, please please don't donate your home goods to them. Please donate to a church. Needy peoples will get it free. Please.

I HAD BEEN shopping here for about 10 years now... but recently at this locations the management is TERRIBLE!! ESPECIALLY ONE OF THE LADIES! and im using this term loosely..shes so very disrepectful and her mouth is nasty . she needs to be fired because i am not going back there anymore BECAUSE OF HER and i have spent tons of money in there over the years. AND THE PRICE have been increasingly more and more expensive...thank goodness for 50 -75% off.. Free donated items should not be costing $100!! and making you have to stand there deciding if its worth it like you're in a regular store...making life decisions...smh... anyways...MYUNIQUE... you really need to change how you pick your management there because they're making big money spending customers Not wanting to come back there!

Years ago this particular unique had decent to good things, now most of the items are overpriced esp for damaged things. Notice alot of " lighter city folk" coming here now acting like vultures grabbing up anything they can to either resell it online or in "vintage stores" in the city and Brooklyn. Acting as if they discovered something. They leave the people that lives in the area with the scraps. Just something I observed. I'm just mentioning what I'm sure others are thinking. Also last but not least the workers stand at the self checkout machines looking like they are correction officers and your coming to visit an inmate. I like the Westbury and Levitown location better cuz it's nicer things outside the city limits.

I like the clothes here.. and lots of deals… however the employees sometimes look at me like I’m crazy.. but other than that the people that come here also seem very entitled.. and I saw a girl trying to steal something. She wasn’t slick. But the deals are great ?

I have shopped at the Queens location for over a year. I shop every week with boldness. I had to endure much unfair criticism, judgement and rudeness from the current managers a young Indian lady and a Mexican man. They backbite me because I go there every week to shop not shoplift. They are so dumb that they suspect that I’m shop lifting they directed their security to intimidate me a lot. I’m a middle age black lady that they condescend because I’m a shopaholic and have an evil eye for. I’m thinking about contacting their local assembly office and find out whom their executive management is. I purchased great merchandise from here but these demons but my shopping experience unpleasant. I spend so much money here, trying to ignore this persecution. I can consult some related and non related attorneys about their treatment towards me but i don’t want to bother them besides they will direct me to complain to the executive managers but I have a feeling that they don’t care, therefore, I should seriously consider complaining to the local assembly district. They are very I’ll mannered, backbiting and cursing. They need to be trained in acting professionally and wisely. I would not be surprised that someone files a lawsuit against them.

MyUnique thrift has a plethora of things! There were lots of cute clothing and shoes, in a variety of sizing. There was a lot of well known brands, and a good selection of vintage.Sadly the dressing rooms are closed so if you plan on going wear leggings and a tank so you can try stuff on accurately! There are color tags which alternate between 25%, 50% , and 75% off so if you’re looking for a good deal shop by tag color!I got a nice haul for under $60 with lots of cute fall staples.

I would not recommend going thrifting here. While as advertised, the racks are stuffed and plentiful, it seems that the price of items is at the discretion of managers and staff. Today, after purchasing (at a self-checkout register) a New York Rangers used and stained jersey from the children's section, I noticed there was a security tag still on the item. I asked a staff member if she could remove the tag. She then brought it to several other staff members, who after some time and discussion, came back to me and said I could no longer have the item, and that they would give me a refund. I asked the manager why, and he said it was because the jersey was wrongly priced. I asked how he knew it was wrongly priced, and he could not answer that question. He insisted it was wrongly priced and that he would have to give me my money back. When I asked what the price of the item should be, he said he didn't know, and that the people who price the items would be back the next day. So I followed up by asking how he knew the item was marked incorrectly, if he wasn't the person responsible for pricing each item. I said to him that there seems to be no policy for pricing, and that he arbitrarily decided that the item was more valuable based on no criteria. I pointed out the stains to him, and asked to speak to someone more senior, but he said he was the most senior worker there and he walked away, discussed again with another staff member, and went to get my change. Even though I had purchased the item and had ownership of it, it was taken away from me non-consensually, and I was given no justification for why I could no longer own an item that was, by definition, mine. It was, overall, a very defeating and unfair experience, and as stated, would not return.

Terrible management. The store smells bad. Items are in poor condition. Customer service is horrible. Never come here.

Manager has no Customer service training. He accuses people of switching tickets in order to raise final total prices. He also tried to change prices of items at register to raise sales which is fraudulent. He does this technique regularly while inferring his shoppers are liars. His issue is he tried this fraudulent attempt to gain more money on each individual sale while threatening to ban or ban innocent customers which causes long term result of those regular higher spending customers to never come back. I have never returned and I visit this area regularly.
