I just got home and used my new Riccar R17 vacuum. I bought a Shark 501 less than two months ago. It was awful, this Riccar is the best vacuum I have had since the Electrolux that I used for over 30 years. This vacuum works just like my Electrolux. Once over and everything is picked up (bird seed). If you go next to the floor boards it picks everything up just like that. To top it off it is so light. I can pick it up with one hand, and I am 78 years old. The cord was long enough to go from my living room to the bedrooms.Plus, Mike would not let me leave until he knew I knew everything about the vacuum. He didn't have to be a salesman, all he had to do was let me use the vacuum. It sold itself.For anyone who is sick of crappy vacuums, go see Mike. He tells it like it is. Also, I haven't been able to go under my couch with other vacuums. This vacuum from top to bottom went under the side of my couch. You have no idea how much I love this vacuum. Thank you Mike for knowing just what I wanted. Thank you.Alexandra

Just called to see if I could get a simple answer about pricing for a new motor for my miele vacuum. I spoke to someone, he told me the price for parts/labor/etc. It's for a miele vacuum so it was a lot so I called around to two other places but this was the only place that didn't hound me. This guy got right to the point, didn't demand I come to the store, was super helpful, nice, and straightforward on the phone. The other two places were either vague/unhelpful or legit just rude, assuming I could afford a big bill just because I have a $500-$1000 Miele vacuum--I got it several years ago, used, from a family friend. I never write reviews but the person I spoke to on the phone from this place was so great, especially compared to the two other places--one in Brooklyn and one in Eastchester, NY. M&M Vacuums won my future business. No question! Thank you!!!!

Definitely worth a check out if you’re buying a new vacuum or first time buyer! Mike is extremely knowledgeable and will recommend the best vacuum for your needs. I was a first time vacuum buyer and wanted a vacuum that would last a lifetime. He walked me through the various vacuums he had and let me test them out. He was very professional, explained the functions, answered all my questions and allowed the vacuums to sell itself. I went in with the intentions of trying out some vacuums but was blown away by the Sebo E3 Premium and purchased one right away all thanks to Mike’s expertise and experience. Mike would not try to up sell you or sell you just any vacuum but strives to help as best he can with his recommendations and build relationships with his customers. I was provided with first class service and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend and as always, support your local business.

I seldom write positive reviews so I will give it a try. I brought in an Oreck I was given and was praying could be salvaged. Mike worked magic and brought this vacuum back from the dead in 15 minutes. He was polite, no non-sense and had confidence in his craft. I wish I could have got him down on the price a little but now I have a top notch vacuum instead of the plastic crap they sell nowadays in target, pc richard and the like.I will definately make the 30 minute trek again to Mike for my vacuum repair needs and have referred him to my mother who lives in the area.

I went to the store with my vacuum cleaner and although I was charged twice for a non-existent problem, I left the store with the vacuum cleaner without working. The employee was rude and said it was my fault for buying the item online and tried to scam me another $59

The only place you can purchase an authentic Miele vacuum from made in Germany is here. And why is that? Because Mike believes in quality and perfection. I recently bought one and had to have it sent to New Hampshire. It was meticulously packaged and Mike went halves with me on the postage. The vacuum is wonderful!

We brought two Dyson's in for repair. Mike was honest about our situation and said our unit that was about 8 years old was not worth repairing and was end of life. He also told us how to fix the other Dyson without charging us. We ended up buying a floor model Dyson at the store to replace the 8 year old one and I am very happy with the purchase.

Had a horrible experience with this place. My Oreck XL21 stopped working and was still under warranty. This place was given to me by Oreck Customer care being the closest to me distance-wise. Called the place asking if they do warranty repairs. The answer was yes, bring it in. Once I got into the store and 1 hour wait (I accept that as the owner was busy with customers) I was told that the motor burned due to being dusty. Was told this is something that is not covered by warranty and Oreck won’t pay for it. I questioned it on the spot since I am the end customer and have no way of knowing what’s inside there. And even if the dust gets inside it is a design flow and not my fault. All my annual maintenances were done and unit was well maintained. At the end after talking with the owner on the phone the next day he implied to me that he simply didn’t want to deal with it due to the hassle of getting paid back by Oreck.I took it to the original Oreck store which was far from me and they found the power cord being defective and fixed it under warranty. I have a felling he didn’t even bother checking it in his store and simply told me that the motor was burned and dusty just to get rid of me.I called him last time letting him know that it was fixed and giving him heads up that I was calling Oreck to let them know about the experience with their authorized dealer and will be leaving Google review as well about my experience. The owner cursed me out and hung up the phone. I guess this is the way to treat customers after wasting 3 hours of my time.
