“Good bank hard workers they let you use their bathroom I was denied mutiple banks( due to over draft) and they let me use their bank along with my father. The waiting time is not bad for the teller.”

Recently came in after a loooooong hiatus with beau and his immediate family and my immediate family to celebrate our engagement because my dad was in from out of town and this was middle ground for all. Everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughly and water service was definitely not lacking. Superior service by far. Inside reminds me of your typical cute Italian restaurant. I only wish that the parking situation was a little bit better but thankfully we were able to score a spot in the lot. Will we be back? Yes. “I must start my review with this info: I am a native New Yorker Baby Boomer who was born in Brooklyn and moved to Queens. I was introduced to bagels back in the 70's by my grandmother forward praying them home from her Manhattan job all the way to Freeport Long Island where they lived. We would be waiting up past midnight for my grandmother to walk in the house with bagels, lox, whitefish and cream cheese!! We'd have a feast that ended around 1:00 a.m. in the morning! With that said, this bagel place to see right back to those times. These are the real deal. Made the old school way. But you wouldn't know this if you were not someone familiar with a true NY bagel. The variety of bagels are amazing and the customer service is awesome. Long story short, if you are in Queens and looking for a real deal bagel whether- it's with butter or made as a sandwich this is the spot to go to... And they're open 24 hours a day 7 days a week!!”

“Very clean and modern looking. There is someone that greets you upon entering. No line when I went which is good. The two branches in Main street are like a zoo. If you need Chinese speaking teller, I am not sure if this is a good branch. The only cons is that there they don't provide parking. Recommended if you don't want to spend 1 hour on line on the Mainstreet branches during an pandemic.”

“This review is to commend the matchless professionalism that Customer Service Supervisor Jacqueline Morrison had demonstrated when she had resolved a difficult problem regarding a safety deposit box on 1/20/24 that had involved Ridgewood Savings Bank branch located on 74-25 Grand Avenue in Elmhurst New York. Despite the initial difficulties in resolving this problem due to a miscommunication by me, she, however, remained calm and eventually researched further on whom had rented this said box. Once she had ascertained that I and my brother, George, had rented this box, she then permitted me to open this box so I could remove the contents and therefore finally close out this box. After I had turned in the safety deposit key to her and Ms. Morrison had given me a receipt pertaining to my brother's lost key, Ms. Morrison ended a four-year long legal problem involving my mother's estate. It is because of this legal closure that I can finally rest regarding my mother's estate and get on with the rest of my life... Once again, I thank Customer Service Supervisor Jacqueline Morrison for the service she had rendered unto me, and I would recommend her to anyone needing banking services pertaining to Ridgewood Savings Bank. --Ronald G. “We were in Long Beach, NY for a family function and this is one of our go to place for breakfast when in this area. Upon entering on a Sunday morning, there was a line, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. This is your classic New York diner, and the food is as expected. The food is very down home, our omelets were cooked a little more than we prefer, but the food was good, loved the bagels and service was very good. This place brings back nostalgia and we plan on going back the next time we're in NY.”

“I had an exhaust leak that was diagnosed by a different shop but as welding was involved and that shop only had a welder one day a week I hadn’t taken care of it yet. One night I opened the hood to fill the washer reserve and the hood latch Handel separated from the cable. Couldn’t fully close the hood. This was urgent so I took it to Antons dropped it off and asked them to look at both issues but not to do the work until approved.They called an hour or so later. The hood cable lever needed to be removed cleaned and reinstalled. As for the exhaust leak they diagnosed the same as my regular guy. It was a little more to fix but they could do it that day. I gave the ok.When they called to say it was completed they mentioned the cost of the exhaust and it was exactly what they estimated. I jumped off the phone quickly and never asked the charge for the hood latch. When I walked in to pay I assumed the charge for cable latch was going to be a shocker.It was.They didn’t charge me anything for fixing the latch, and $20.00 less than quoted for the exhaust fix.I have lived in this town since 1977 and Antons has been here the entire time. If they did business in the manner described in the other reviews they would have been gone long ago.All I care about is honesty and they were honest with me. I’m Not sure why I had never used them before but I sure I’ll will be back.”

The bank manager is extremely efficient, personable as the staff.If I could give 6 stars I would.
