“I must start my review with this info: I am a native New Yorker Baby Boomer who was born in Brooklyn and moved to Queens. I was introduced to bagels back in the 70's by my grandmother forward praying them home from her Manhattan job all the way to Freeport Long Island where they lived. We would be waiting up past midnight for my grandmother to walk in the house with bagels, lox, whitefish and cream cheese!! We'd have a feast that ended around 1:00 a.m. in the morning! With that said, this bagel place to see right back to those times. These are the real deal. Made the old school way. But you wouldn't know this if you were not someone familiar with a true NY bagel. The variety of bagels are amazing and the customer service is awesome. Long story short, if you are in Queens and looking for a real deal bagel whether- it's with butter or made as a sandwich this is the spot to go to... And they're open 24 hours a day 7 days a week!!”

“Eli is amazing. only guy in the area with integrity, and he used to teach mechanics that's how much he knows about cars. I asked him why I leak oil and he listed 5 possible causes in detail, and in a friendly and instructive way, and didn't start in on a hard sale. Look into his eyes, you will want him to be your mechanic, and your dad.”

“A business exist to make money. Not there to provide free service giving you quarters. I don't get why people think others should have a meaningless conversation with you. Do you damn banking and leave. With that said, low balance requirements, free checks, no lines to wait, competitive interest, LONG hour, open sunday. Lastly, the only place with a coin counting machines. Screw you TD bank. Give up your "convenient" title over”

“Very clean and modern looking. There is someone that greets you upon entering. No line when I went which is good. The two branches in Main street are like a zoo. If you need Chinese speaking teller, I am not sure if this is a good branch. The only cons is that there they don't provide parking. Recommended if you don't want to spend 1 hour on line on the Mainstreet branches during an pandemic.”

“This review is to commend the matchless professionalism that Customer Service Supervisor Jacqueline Morrison had demonstrated when she had resolved a difficult problem regarding a safety deposit box on 1/20/24 that had involved Ridgewood Savings Bank branch located on 74-25 Grand Avenue in Elmhurst New York. Despite the initial difficulties in resolving this problem due to a miscommunication by me, she, however, remained calm and eventually researched further on whom had rented this said box. Once she had ascertained that I and my brother, George, had rented this box, she then permitted me to open this box so I could remove the contents and therefore finally close out this box. After I had turned in the safety deposit key to her and Ms. Morrison had given me a receipt pertaining to my brother's lost key, Ms. Morrison ended a four-year long legal problem involving my mother's estate. It is because of this legal closure that I can finally rest regarding my mother's estate and get on with the rest of my life... Once again, I thank Customer Service Supervisor Jacqueline Morrison for the service she had rendered unto me, and I would recommend her to anyone needing banking services pertaining to Ridgewood Savings Bank. --Ronald G. “After being given the "bum's rush" out the door because greedy HSBC Bank was exiting all their retail banking services, I was forced to vacate my safe deposit box and close out all my accounts. I was left out in the cold worrying about where to secure all my valuable paperwork which included deeds, service discharge papers, and a who slew of documents which filled a rather large box. Chase stepped up to the plate and I was not only able to get a safe deposit box gratis but was also able to link all my Chase accounts dating back some 40+ years. I now no longer waste hours having to trek into Manhattan (ugh!) each time I need to access my safe deposit box but just walk a block for banking nirvana. No more putting up with HSBC attitude with difficult to understand accents but have overly generous perks which I had to pay for previously at greedy HSBC. This includes interest on all my Chase accounts including savings, but more importantly interest on my checking accounts. Checks are FREE, ATM fees are waived, but more importantly no more costly annual rental fees for safe deposit boxes. Retail banking is slowly going by way of the dinosaur and I pity those of very modest means being gouged by all these banks and this includes both friends and family. Sign of the times and expected to grow even worse. Finally many thanks to William Zhang, a very gifted Chase employee who made my transition from evil HSBC to Chase a bit less stressful. Now if only Chase will staff multiple teller windows (versus just the one...ugh!) and bring back notary services it will be epic and worth shouting from the rooftops.”

“Raquel Brice was my credit solutions officer at the Crown Heights branch of Bank of America in Brooklyn. Her customer service was excellent. She was thorough and professional. English is my second language but she was very patient and made sure that I understood everything I needed to know. She made me happy that I chose Bank of America and I highly recommend working with her.”

“This is a pretty spacious dedicated ATM location. Most ATM locations feel as if they're an afterthought. The machines are stuffed in a narrow area and are more like telephone booths. This ATM location is different. When walking into the doors, the bank is straight ahead and the ATMs are in a dedicated space to the right. There's lovely art on the wall (Wells Fargo logo) and chairs in this foyer area BEFORE you get to the ATM room. You'll need your bank card during off hours to get in, but I love the design here.”
