“Whenever I make it to the Amelia OH area, stopping here is absolute must. If you love collecting toys, this is the place to go. Be sure to set some time aside because there is a TON of toys to look through. The prices are fair, and you can find some great deals.”

“What a beautiful coffee shop/gift shop in a beautifully restored 1835 home! The Doscher's company moved to this restored, Newtown historic home in 2017. Candy tours are no longer available. Our barista gave us a wonderful rendition of the history of the company and served us so well! Each drink comes with a caramel candy. There is a rewards program. Pastries from Golden Hands bakery (another local favorite) are available in the coffee shop! Highly recommend!”

“I love all of the dolls around, they have their own personal looks and it's so creative. Their truffles are so good and especially their pyramid chocolates. They have such a warm welcoming feeling to the whole place. Their Oreos even have different creative styles on them like some include a Hanukah theme while some have a doctor or nurse theme to them. I love this chocolate place and it is such high quality. They had samples that were delectable, the samples included a waffle mixed with a croissant and they also had hot chocolate. Both were soooo good.

Kid-friendliness: The whole place reminds me of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, and there is dolls with creative outfits on.”

“Tucked off of Montgomery Road in a shopping center you can't see from the main drag, Supreme Nuts & Candy is a little window into a real-life Candyland. They sell everything from retro candies (candy cigarettes [!], candy necklaces, pop rocks;) chocolate-covered nuts and gourmet chocolates (truffles, cordials, creams;) pick and mix (taffy, hard candy;) nuts of all sorts; and every other kind of candy you can think of (gummies, licorice, seasonal.) They also have gift baskets, gift bags for the pick and mix, and various individually priced candies (candy bars, lollipops, gum.) The prices range from 39 cents for a lollipop, by the quarter pound ($6.29 per pound) for pick and mix and by the quarter pound for nuts and candy housed in sealed bins and a chocolate case. I got eight dark chocolate cherry cordials for $5. A good price for high-end chocolate, and so smooth and delicious, I think they're going to become a habit. One side note, the shopkeeper had her mid-size dog in the store. She had a sign up saying he was gentle, but this was a dog running around, and that jumped on me several times. (I use a cane right now.) I didn't think it was customer-friendly for all.”

“This is the friendliest place in town. After a few times visiting the store, they remembered my name and always greet me by such. There has never been an issue with anyone over anything and I'm in there twice a day almost everyday. They always remember and greet folks by their names. If u pay cash you might want to take a moment to introduce yourself, as I'm sure you can't be addressed by name if no one knows ur name. And as for racists, I think not.”

“We stopped into the new location across from 50 West and we would rate this place 1000 stars if we could! Not only are the caramels to die for (they will 1000% add sunshine to your life even on the dreariest of days), but the owner, Cara, was the sweetest human! Her personality is pure sunshine! I highly recommend Sunshine Caramels, you will not be disappointed!!”

“inLove this candy store. They do NOT ACCEPT FOODSTAMPS. However, they have decent prices, u can't ask for the price to be too low, everyone needs to be able to make money. I understand, and I appreciate the deals they do provide such as a 5 pound bag of sour gummy worms for only $12.50Also, they have the rare hard to find,ZACKARY COMPANIES' VANILLA CREAM DROPS! I believe they cost $10 for a 3 pound bag. They have dark chocolate flavored Vanilla cream drops as well, not on my grocery list. Not a fan of dark chocolate, but to each their own!Visit this candy store which is located on Court Street downtown Cincinnati.”

“This is the neatest candy shop I've ever been to. They have candy from all over the world, and a huge selection with a visually appealing setup. The cashier was nice and answered my questions about bulk candy ingredients. They have a decent selection of vegan options. And they have a loyalty program. It was so exciting and I wanted to look at everything. I felt like a kid in a candy shop!”
