Our family was with Cortland Savings for well over 70 years. Making the transition to Farmers Bank was difficult, but knowing the ladies from our Cortland bank were there to help made it some what easier. Over the past 5 years Nancy F. has assisted us through some difficult times, and appreciate everything she has done for us!

We have banked with Farmers (previously Cortland Bank). The staff and especially Tracy are easy to work with. I recently have had several accounts that needed updated, and Tracy has handled the paperwork with patience and efficiently making my job easier. Truly appreciate her!

I've been with Farmers for years. Stopped at the Cortland branch as I was passing through town. Nicole waited on us and was very pleasant and friendly during our transactions. It's nice to deal with kind people and a smiling face at good local business's.

I work for a local company located in Cortland. The company does daily banking with this branch. Occasionally, I am responsible for doing the banking. They have an employee there named Trish. She is always very helpful and she is the one that you hope will be the one to help you when you are next in line.

I brought in 199 checks and Stephanie typed in every single check by hand with a smile on her face, a good attitude, and attention to detail. Thanks girls!

I have been using Cortland Bank for my business and personally for many years. I love this local bank. They are large enough to handle my needs and small enough to still care about making me happy.

I am a first-time home buyer with excellent credit. I went to Cortland Bank to try to get a home loan I saw the vice president retail Mortgage Banking officer. I had already found a condo that I wanted to purchase. So I then applied for the loan to buy the condo. After a few weeks I was told I was approved and that I would have to have an appraisal done. So I then paid $525 for an appraisal to be done I thought this was the last step. So the appraisal came back good and a few days after the bank contacted me to tell me that they were not going to finance me because of too many delinquent accounts in the HOA association. I understand where the bank is coming from on that end but in my opinion the bank should have done their research and knew about that before I paid for my appraisal because now I'm not getting that money back and I work hard for my money. That's just not right. You deal with the mortgage guy so that he can look out for you so that you don't get ripped off. If they were going to turn me down for to many delinquent accounts they should have done it before I paid for the appraisal.
