“I wanted to try something new today so chose here. I went through Uber Eats... they didn't have one of the things I ordered so the person called me, walked me through how to get the order to still go through and gave me free loaded fries. the food was good for the price both in quality and quantity. but I really just appreciated the customer service which...if your using Uber ...isn't something you typically get . will def order again in the future.”
“This was always my go to location when I lived in South Lorain, it’s cool to see it got upgraded to a DG market! They have a better selection of inventory that other stores and this one has the friendliest staff.”
“I come up here during the summer and go out of my way to shop here. I have a Meijer close to me where I live and they could learn a lot from the Lorain Meijer. Lorain Meijer is clean, well organized, well staffed and has what I need. While they still have a lot of self check outs in use, I’ve been able to utilize a real cashier every time I’ve gone And they are always friendly and quick. I’ve stopped at the customer service desk also and never have to wait.”
“This is the biggest Dollar General I know of, they have better selection than other locations. I'm also glad that they were able to save the old Aldi building and put it to good use!”
“We always liked this place, and their chicken is delicious! However, until the ownership changed recently, service was less than good... We are starting to revisit the food mart again with the hope that the new owners will maintain a professional business! We do like to support local businesses!”

“Since new management has taken over this location has improved by leaps and bounds! It's almost as if the store had been remodeled since my last visit. The store manager was a very nice lady, very helpful and very courteous. Will return for my 5 off 25 coupon”
“Always love going to this store in particular. The employees are always nice and welcoming. The store could use a little more room as most dollar generals could, of course. But they work well with the room they have there. And you can always find something there, regardless if you were looking or not, that you want to take home.”
“Since the store opened the worker/s are pleasant. The store has been and stay fill with all kinds of items and neat. I enjoy coning to this store then the one closest to my home.”
“Local grocery. Easy to maneuver around in the aisles, with plenty to choose from. Not enough help, but those that are there are very friendly and knowledgeable of their wares.”
“What a clean store! I've seen been impressed with Meijer, but this one is especially clean with well stocked shelves and wide aisles. They put great detail into the flooring and lighting. The frozen food section refrigerators are well lit and organized. We found almost everything we were looking for. It is pricier than I remember, we didn't see any 10 for $10. But still I wish they had Meijer or something similar on the east coast. Walmart superstores don't compare, not yet at least.”
“Larger grocery store that has a wide variety of selection and cheaper than competing chain stores. The building definitely needs some updates but other than that it’s a great place to shop!”
“This place to me is close for convenience. I needed chili powder. Came out with a few other items just incase I forgot I might need. Wore a mask a few other people in the store. Social distancing is practiced. They clean their buggies or carry baskets. Very helpful and friendly.”
“They usually have what I'm looking for. A bit pricey on some stuff for a dollar store, but they have a good selection. They've added more home decor which is nice, plus anything else you may need. Overall it's a good place to shop.”

“Got ? milk? For the odds and ends things that I run out of such as juice or milk, I love Drug Mart. They're cheaper than Dollar General, they have fresh produce, I love their chicken salad, and they have everything from dog treats to beer to throw rugs and furnace filters in there. I loved Drug Mart when I lived in Lakewood and I love Drug Mart now that I live further west.It's my go-to place when I just need a couple of items and I need them Now. It's always easy to find a place to park, the people who work there are always friendly and it never takes more than a couple minutes to get out of there. They bag my groceries for me! Love it!”
“It's an okay place to shop that's local. My personal preference as far is Apples Grocery stores go is the one out in Sheffield Lake on Lake Rd. The best hands down. Great staff. Very organized. Great location. Well stocked. The one on Meister is far better than the one off of Route 254, I will say that much.”
“Shop at this location on a regular basis. I've seen some complain that the location appears outdated, personally I find that charming. The prices are great, you can find just about everything you need. Great place to find new-old stock holiday decor and like items.I have two grievances:First, they need to pay a little more attention to expiration dates (especially with bread.)Second, I've had some bad experiences with unnecessarily rude cashiers.”
“I shop here frequently as it is near my home, very clean, and very nice staff. But no store is perfect. I was going to purchase some Tina's big burritos when I noticed the handful that were left were all moldy. Brought them to the cashier, who courteously apologized and took them from me. I had bought a couple a few days ago and incurred lite stomach issues. Maybe try another brand next time.”
“The weekly sale started 2 days ago, and it was 5/$5 Crush, Schweppes, Mug, and Starry. There was not a single bottle available today, when I asked the very nice clerk she said that it was due to the vendor. That's very sorry business to say the least. Before you think about trying to attract wealthier clients, work on running a worthy store chain!”

“The Walmart staff who work in grocery pickup area are super nice. The are always friendly and smiling. I've been there when they are swamped and they still have good attitudes. Discovering Walmart pickup was the best thing to come out of corona virus!”
