After spending 31 wonderful years as an occupational therapist, I have finally retired to follow my dream of opening a craft/antique shoppe. I have been collecting “goodies” for YEARS, saying that they are for my “someday shoppe”. Whenever I had spare time, I would retreat to my basement to paint something, add a bow to another, or completely repurpose something.....It was so therapeutic for me! It was MY therapy! Often times, women don’t take the time (or have the time!) to engage in activities that they love...those creative outlets.
