Cannon Beach Smokehouse
131 W 2nd St, Cannon BeachThe food is great and there is a lot of it. The fries we ordered for an app could have been a meal. There is very little seating though- very small place. So if you go at the wrong time they will tell you it's going to be 30 min or more. I saw them turn 5 groups away after we sat down.

Bistro
263 N Hemlock St, Cannon BeachWe so enjoyed our experience here. The staff was very kind in accommodating us even though we were a walk in and throughout the entire dinner our service was fantastic. I highly recommend letting the chef take the lead and ordering the specials as everything was exciting and delicious. One of the owners JJ was so sweet and made us feel like family and you could tell she did that with every person that walked in. This place was cozy but elegant with delicious, unique dishes. We are so happy this is where we chose to come for dinner while on vacation. <3

Castaways Global Cuisine
308 Fir St, Cannon BeachCastaways is our favorite place to eat in Cannon Beach, and believe me, we've tried nearly all of them over the years. We come out here at least twice a year and never miss an opportunity to enjoy their latest seasonal food offerings and their insane cocktails. My hubby said that tonight's pork cheek jambalaya was some of the best he's had since he left New Orleans 25 years ago. (And as odd as it sounds, the smattering of blueberries was a surprisingly successful addition that gave it just a pop of PNW flair.)And my Parmesan crusted petrale sole was also fantastic... crisp, flavorful coating over moist fish, with creamy mashers and crisp/tender fresh veggies. I wouldn't say it exactly fit in with the "Caribbean/Tiki Bar" theme, but it was delicious and well prepared. And the cocktails more than made up for whatever thematic elements may have been missing in the fish. The Zombie and the Rum Punch were strong, complex and not overly sweet. Add in the excellent service, and Castaways is just the full package.

Sea Level Bakery + Coffee
3116 South Hemlock Street, Cannon BeachBest mocha I have had in a long time!! The baked goods were fantastic. There were too many good options. I had a hard time choosing. I was in a savory mood, so choose the three cheese biscuit. It was excellent! My wife chose this raspberry thing with a French name I can not remember. It was amazing. I wanted to go back after church and get more, but we had to head north

Ecola Seafood Restaurant & Market/Cannon Beach Seafood
208 N Spruce St, Cannon BeachI was just recommending this to a friend who is in CB right now and realized I never reviewed it. BEST crab cakes I've ever had, even over the east coast! I'm still dreaming about them 3 years later.... I know we ordered other things but the crab cakes stole the show. It was all delicious though!

Bill's Tavern & Brewhouse
188 N Hemlock St, Cannon BeachGood food. Good beer. Good prices. Great service.Awesome little find in Cannon Beach. This place was a pleasant surprise! Eating at the coast is always a love-hate relationship. It’s going to cost 3x more (which is understandable) and the food is just meh more times than not, but not with this place.Exactly what you want out of a pub. Good selection of beer, the sampler I had was really delicious even beers I’m not normally a fan of like IPAs (I know unpopular opinion) were really good.Food was better than expected for a pub, and the coast. Halibut and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. Fish was perfectly cooked on the inside plump and juicy, while nicely fried on the outside. Fried prawns were thicc, big and same as fish, crisp on outside and plump and juicy on inside. Some of my favorite cocktail sauce too. Here’s where they win extra points, the side salad is awesome. Nice mixed greens and fresh veggies. It’s a nice balance to all the other fun fried food.My husband had the hamburger and onion rings and reported back that they were solid. He hardly spoke once the food came and there weren’t any leftovers on his plate so I feel like that says it all (IYKYK).Service was also amazing. We sat in the bar and everyone was very attentive, friendly, and kind. They worked well as a team too. Although we had our main server it felt like you had multiple people waiting on you.For a no frills, nothing fancy, fun pub environment where you can get a solid dinner and a drink - this place is it. We’ll definitely hit this place up again when we’re back at the Coast.

Pelican Brewing – Cannon Beach
1371 S Hemlock St, Cannon BeachUpdate: still good food and service with limited outdoor seating. Full menu postCovid. Portions are way too big and I'd appreciate a small burger option so I don't waste half of it. But burgers are good. Fries are beet battered.Good food. They have a limited food menu during covid with burgers, flatbread, and appetizers. A lot of bwer choices and the wait on a Tuesday wasn't bad. The staff was great and helpful. The burgers and flatbread were very good. Fries are battered. The salad upgrade was $2,50 for a tiny salad--not worth it. Beautiful building and a good location. Expansive.
