My old cat died there. They got me in same day said she needed to be there for two days and she died after I left. She was sick and old. I wanted to save her.

Forest Valley Veterinary Clinic has been here for over 30 years. Dr. Bill Steinkruger helped establish the hospital and worked with the animals of Cottage Grove until he passed away in 2009. Drs. Bruce Behrends, DuWayne Penfold and Ryan Frome purchased the hospital and have worked hard to maintain the atmosphere that ‘Dr Bill’ created and continue to improve our ability to serve the veterinary needs of this community. We appreciate your support during the transition, and promise to remain a locally owned hospital committed to the care of your animals. The Veneta Veterinary Hospital is also owned by the group and allows us to offer access to a broader selection of diagnostic and treatment options. These practices share the same philosophy of high quality care, delivered on a very personal level, and we strive to keep veterinary care affordable when and where it is needed most.
