“Very polite and friendly people. They are kind to our children after school. They never accuse my son stealing.. my son never steals always have money for snack after school. Sometimes he takes to long to decide but you treat him kind and with respect. Other store think he's stealing and call to the police, they check all of him and he didn't take nothing. We my friends and family only come to this market. Never go back to other one. Thank you for showing ups with professional and kindness”

“The people who own this store are wonderful and so is there store, so happy to have an option for snacks and drinks, and all sorts of goodies that isn’t 7-Eleven or the sketchy unfriendly shell station down the street”

“John’s has such an insane selection. Such a big selection that it can sometimes be overwhelming… but the kind staff and renovated layout of the store has made it much easier to find something that appeals to me and anyone I bring in here. If you’re in the neighborhood, this is where you should be getting your drinks.”

“First time here. It's nice and spacious inside; easy to find things. The employees were friendly too. The traffic light makes it nice to get to the store and back out with no hassles.”

“Stopped by for the first time as I know many people that love this place. I do too now! All were very welcoming and had a good selection of wines. I had a certain type of wine I was looking for and was given multiple options along with a description by Bryan the Wine Director. I'll definitely be back and recommend The Cellar Door!”

“Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. They make good recommendations and when items are out, they even suggested other stores. The other store was a flop however and we’ll stick to this place.”

“What a terrific wine shop. We found it in Yelp and are so glad we did. We weren't sure what we wanted. Despite a terrible car crash through the front window and a lot of inventory destroyed and property damage, they were able to find some great Italian sparkling wines with personal experience and stories behind each. We are excited to try the 6 we bought”

“This bottle shop and cafe boasts an impressive selection of local beers, neatly organized by type, making it easy to find exactly what you're looking for. The variety of Portland-area beers available is definitely a highlight, showcasing the best of the local brewing scene. While the beer selection is top-notch, the customer service experience left something to be desired. During my visit, I found that the staff didn't acknowledge my presence, which was disappointing as I was hoping to ask for recommendations and learn more about the Portland-area brews they had to offer. The inside is pretty dark for daytime but would be cozy at night.”

“We walked by this business on our way to a local brewpub. It looked really sketchy at with painted windows. I thought it might be a dispensary or underage club.On a return trip, we were looking for a place selling Kachka's Horseradish Vodka since they don't sell it at their restaurant. A Google search of liquor stores that carry it led us back here, much to our surprise. It turns out they've moved in, and it's extremely nice inside. The staff were very helpful and they have about everything one might be looking for.”

“Decent selection of single malts and bourbons - most of your key requirements are covered and the staff is personable and knowledgeable. For a small store it's a good choice.”

“This is the best wine-shop. Full stop. They've nailed it on every dimension: 1) What an incredible, varied, and dynamic selection of wines available! The shelves are always full, and every time I go I find something new and interesting 2) Their prices are so reasonable! I can reliably expect to grab a ~$15-20 bottle that's still going to be really dang good, but it's also fun to go explore around in their rare and vintage wine room for some truly exceptional bottles! 3) Most importantly, the folks working there are so awesome. The new owners are warm, inviting, and SO knowledgeable! Michael is an endless font of information, and so good at giving an informed recommendation, all while somehow *not* being a wine-snob! He and his sweet family make the shop have such a wonderful neighborhood vibe. What a gem of a shop! Can't wait to go back (soon)”

“I needed a bottle of wine to be delivered the next day as a birthday gift. Called and talked to Jim. Very pleasant guy to work with. He handled everything, from helping with the selection, gift bag, message on the card and his wife delivered the wine. The end result was a very happy birthday girl! I will be going back to Wizer's Fine Wines for sure.”

“Stopped in for a quick glass on a layover. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly service. I had the red blend and it reminded me of home, which is a great feeling when traveling. Would recommend.”

“Very nice wine shop with a lot of fun wines. Most are low intervention producers (I don't love the term 'natural'). Prices are fair. The wine bar next door has a $10 corkage for anything selected from the retail side.”

“Fantastic selection of beer and liquor but light on the wine. But that’s not what you came here for, is it? The folks behind the counter know what they’re talking about. Got a small batch bottle of mezcal and it did not disappoint.”

“Mea culpa.... I've been coming here for years, and somehow have never written a review. Woodstock Wine and Deli is an exemplary neighborhood place, with the food and wine promised by the name, as well as being a great spot for live music, and sitting and enjoying their products. There is a performance space at the front, a wine counter (for by-the-glass purchases) on the wall to the left, and the deli counter at the back of the store. The center and the right wall are devoted to shelves and shelves of bottles.A good order of events is to stake out a place to sit, then go to the deli window and make a food order, and, finally, visit the wine counter go find your beverages. You can then sit down with your wine and wait for the freshly made sandwiches to be brought to your table. One thing I have not found is complete information online about music performances. Their FB page has some tasting and music events listed, but I've been to others that I've only known about by word of mouth. I'd advise dropping by, shopping, and checking out postings in the store for upcoming performances.”

“Big selection and they always seem to have the bottle that I can't find elsewhere in the area. They always have that bottle of falernum, absinthe, rhum agricole or whatever that I am looking for. Staff is friendly, approachable and available to assist. Great spot!”

“Saw two bands, great beer selection, cool vibes, beer tender was cool. One of the bands it was their first gig and they were amazing. Sushi place around the corner is the bomb. Nice night out to a new neighborhood.”

“Despite the modest sized commercial space, this store has a massive and diverse selection of wine. The prices are very reasonable and it’s impossible not to find something good that will fit within your budget. The man in charge was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this over places like Fred Meyer and encourage everyone to visit!”

“This is a great place to chill and watch a game or hang indoors or outdoors. They have a lot of beers on tap and coolers full of unique cans and bottles too. Go by and check it out. Reasonably priced ”

“Why 5 stars!?! Not because it is pretentious, not because it is flashy, but because it is nice, great selection of good and very reasonably priced wines, friendly staff, convenient location, and a comfortable vibe.”

“This store is great to find Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and ingredients. It also has some hard to find European food items. It's counters provide finished meals as well as fresh ingredients.I expect many items to be a bit more expensive than the local Safeway. And some are. But surprisingly many of the specialty items that you also find in your local supermarket are cheaper here.It is a pleasure to shop here. It is a bit of a trip to far away lands and there always lurks something curious around every corner of the narrow isles.Good times!”

“Sizable selection of different wine, cider, beer, and other soft drinks but not as big as the main Multnomah location.I still stop by here every couple of months to stock up the fridge and always end up with more than I expect to leave with. ?They also draft beer with rotating taps and a nice selection of food from the adjacent food carts and TVs inside or a nice cosy patio to enjoy a beer or two.”
