The local office in Lincoln City, OR opens late. The clerk seems confused. Good luck trying to call the local office. The phone numbers posted on the web for the dealership and the Feed and Tack store attached to the U-Haul dealership puts you to a FAX machine.

We asked for a 15 ft U-Haul and they gave us a 10 ft one instead. Then we ended up getting charged for both of them for two days. I still haven't gotten my money back for the 15-foot one.

What a scam U-Haul has, they have the worst service, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.. THEY AT LAST MINUTE CHANGED MY TRUCK PICK UP 35 MILES OUT OF TOWN AND GAVE ME 25 MILES CREDIT, THEY CAN'T GET TRUCK TO ME WHERE I ORDERED IT, better off using a real moving company, save your stress from getting out of control as U-Haul is incompetent., If I could leave zero stars they would be deserving of that rating... Don't use U-Haul .

I reserved a truck & auto transport in South Beach, Oregon and received a call that they were unavailable a few days before my move. I had to drive a total of 2.5 hours to two different locations in opposite directions to pick up each unit. U-Haul did not make any concessions for this inconvenience but I requested it and what the lady offered was more miles, an additional day, and $50 credit. I never saw the $50 credit. After I realized the location of each unit, I complained about the circumstances to the regional manager in Salem. Her customer service skills were absent and she told me, "you should be grateful that we're even giving you one" [an auto transport] because there weren't any around. She referenced the wildfires (which impacted all of us on the Oregon coast) and she seemed burnt out and in significant need of training and support. I was told by the U-Haul representative to pick up the auto transport by 2pm because that's when they closed for the day. The Lincoln City U-Haul dealer called to admonish me for not picking it up at 9am because apparently he was supposed to be going on vacation. Luckily I had rescheduled my movers earlier to have additional time but then I also cancelled an important appointment so that I arrived in Lincoln City at 11:30am, and the man had LEFT. The gas station workers hooked it up for me. Two positives: the Waldport, Oregon U-Haul dealer was professional and courteous and they had a great pet store, and the Rochester Hills, Michigan U-Haul center staff were professional, courteous, fast & efficient.U-Haul should keep their websites updated with what is actually available for rent on the central Oregon coast, increase communication with and provide logistical support to neighborhood dealers (especially those in areas of/surrounding wildfires), provide mandatory customer service training for neighborhood dealers, and send me a statement showing the $50 credit I was promised. If you have to rent from them, expect last minute inconvenient changes, staff who operate as though the world should revolve around them, and plan for several hours of extra time to adjust to their poor logistical management.

Leon it's the best. This guy is professional and respectful. I have rented twice now in the last year and he had superior customer service. I'm glad there was a truck ready to rent that was clean and read the right size for me.

Glad they had a car dolly but getting it was a nightmare. They close promptly at 4pm even if you have been there since 2pm to figure out a rental. So be prepared

Made a reservation for a car dolly for the next day and I decided I was going to leave early so I called to see if I could pick up early and gave them my res number and they said oh we don't have a car dolly available. I asked them if it would be available for my original pick up for the following day and they said yeah no you have to go to South beach which is over 40 miles which is 1hr and 30 mins away. Ummm I'm in a rv that gets 8 miles to the gallon and you said you had a trailer. They told me to just go to South beach to pick up. Well just to see I made another inquiry to South beach and I had a rep contact me saying they didn't have a car dolly at that location either! So now here I am with a r.v. and a car and have a family emergency I have to get to tommorrow by Utah! Way to treat your customers.
