“I am giving five stars to Cody the Staff Manager who apologized for the way I was treated by another manager and the person working in returns when I visited the Tigard Costco Warehouse recently to return two items. The details - At the beginning I informed the person helping with the returns that they would go back on two different cards. I did not know that Costco provides one receipt even though the refunds were for two different cards. When I said that didn't work for my record keeping the response I received was that I didn't tell her I needed two receipts. I asked who could help and she called a manager who seemed to yell across the counter at me and was not helpful. I then asked for the next level of manager and that is when I was able to talk with Cody. Costco Corporate - If you monitor these reviews please consider addressing the way the employees who have direct contact with customers interact with them. When I can I drive farther to the Wilsonville Warehouse because it is almost always a more pleasant experience.”

In a time where pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff are in very short supply while the aging population and their increased requirement for medications all pharmacies everywhere are inordinately stress. And while there is no denying their “peak times” are very busy, this staff is unfailingly professional while remaining warm, approachable and overall meticulous in their practice. I received a call prior to pharmacy opening hours from a pharmacist who wanted to speak to me about a drug/drug interaction. While it turned out the prescription that they had received was sent in error, it did have my name on it and a careful analysis of my current meds revealed a very serious risk. Top notch, this staff!!”

I had a prescription filled earlier this week and was able to call back the next day for most recent Covid vaccine. Thank you Joel, thank you Gloria, and appreciation to counter staff too. “I am shocked to see so many low ratings at this location. I have been coming to this pharmacy Monthly for almost three years. I have never had any issues. My only issue now is my ID is expired so I can not personally pick up myself ( although they know me by name) with that said, they have to follow policies. All Pharmacy staff have gone out of their way to ensure I get the brand I prefer in a timely manner. They are fast, friendly and knowledgeable.”

“Just visited to pick up any discounted rabbits for a Food Pantry Birthday Bag donation. Well, they had a 75% off aisle!!!!!Bought 4 Ghirardelli chocolate bars and 2 basketball/hoop toys, Merci chocolates, too!!!!!!!!!Will definitely keep going back for more like deals!!!!!!”

“I recently went to the Rite Aid in King City off Durham Rd., Tigard. I found the pharmacist and the other people working in the pharmacy to be extremely helpful and pleasant. It was my first time using that pharmacy and I was very impressed! Plus the entire store feels neat, clean, and well-organized. The cashier greets people as they walk in. I was asked in a review if I was greeting in a "caring" way. I'd be surprised if I was and I'm just happy to have my existence acknowledged. It's a smart practice to let customers know you're aware they're in the store. Asking them to sound Caring while they are ringing up sales is a bit much. The woman did sound friendly and that was more important to me.”

“This place has really been stepping up their game lately. I've been getting my meds here since I've lived in the area for 7 years. Amanda's been around for a while and she is pretty knowledgeable and helpful. There's a new pharmacist who takes a lot of initiative. The previous lady has been pretty on it, as well. I need a certain generic brand that became hard to come by, so the pharmacist only filled half of my prescribed amount, so we could check for my preferred generic in a few weeks. I didn't ask for this but it makes so much sense and I app then doing it.”

“I've literally gone to this store off and on my whole life! I remember when this store had a completely different look. It went through three or four phases where literally everything was changed. It used to have a drive-up for groceries. It had a restaurant (Eve's Buffet) and there was a hardware store called the Home Improvement Store which is now completely gone, the parking lot was expanded when it was torn down. To me this will always be the greatest supermarket in the world!! I went in there today after 4 years or so, and it looks better than ever.”

“Im giving 4 stars and here is why. I’ve been to this pharmacy many times and I haven’t had any problems because I’ve walked in. I know they are severely short staffed. This is not their fault. I called the pharmacy and they wouldn’t pick up the phone. This is the new normal. So I called and the guy at the front desk told me they were open and that I could stop in. I thanked him for going to check because it’s not his job to leave the register. I called several times and they still wouldn’t pick up in the pharmacy, so I called back and spoke to manager Chris. He went back to the pharmacy and had them pick up the phone. I didn’t want to drive 10 miles round-trip to find out if a prescription was filled or even if they got it. Sure enough it was not filled, but they did receive it. It’s too late for me to come out tonight because the prescription is for my eyes. So I can wait till tomorrow. I really appreciate the team effort between the cashier and the supervisor and even the pharmacist who was very friendly when she answered. I’m very patient. But what people don’t understand is that some people can’t just get in their car and come over to check on things. And even though this situation was figured out for me, I’m leaving four stars because I had a bad experience with the Covid booster shot in 2021. The man who gave it to me said, “oops”. Now I’m a former phlebotomist so needles don’t bother me. He told me he stuck it too far in, and I just brushed it off. But he had to have done something wrong, because I ended up in emergency the next day. The ambulance had to come through my window to get me. I’ll never know if he gave me too much of the medicine, or the wrong one. But I’ve been paying for it ever since. Is this the fault of the pharmacist or the vaccine? I don’t know. But even with this I will say that I’m going to stand by my Rite Aid, as there are worse alternatives out there like Walgreens.”
