“I meandered into Dr. Tumblety’s on a whimsy and was absolutely blown away. First I was welcomed with an introduction to the stores namesake and then given a tour of a few up and coming additions including a beautiful distillery and a speakeasy called The Storyville Lounge. The speakeasy was incredibly curated with beautiful vintage decor meticulously collected. I enjoyed their Sazerac and felt transported into a different time. This is an absolutely unique and welcoming hidden gem that deserves the main stage in Pittsburgh”

“Was visiting Carson Street with no real agenda other than to find a record store and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a store! I had to walk in and was transported to a different place and time. Amazing stickers and patches filled with nostalgia. An incredible line up of clothing and jewelry. The staff was very attentive and kind, spent a little time talking to the owner, great dude! After a purchase I just couldn’t walk out the front door without, he offered us free gifts on the way out on top of the root beer barrel candies! What an experience! I can’t wait to come back with more money and time!”

Found the perfect dress for an event I have coming up, NWT for an amazing price, plus the owner gave me a little discount! She was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by. “This has been my third order with Grant at Tom James, and I’ve been highly satisfied with the experience and the quality of the products each time. Custom made clothes are worth every penny, especially when it comes to formal wear. Highly recommend going this route over buying a premade suit and getting it altered. The quality difference and perfect fit is very noticeable!”
“Fantastic little shop! The Prom Place is a no frills little boutique off the beaten path. It’s such a refreshing break from the loud hustle bustle of some of the large, fancy shops. They have a nice selection of quality dresses which they care for meticulously. They accept customers by appointment only and provide their undivided attention to the customer. The prices are some of the best I’ve seen. This shop is a rare find and will now always be the first place we shop for dresses!”
“Any event I go to, this is my spot. Large variety of dresses, very formal to just a night out. Only complaint is the glitter on the dresses makes such a mess. I even hairspray the glitter dresses (it's what Google says to do), this time I had black glitter everywhere, including my salad! Lol I wish they had more midi length, lots of to the floor length and I Need like over 12 inches of that hemmed off.”
“I usually don’t take the time to review places but this Old Navy location is hands down the best. Store is super clean and organized. All of the employees were extremely friendly and willing to help. Shout out to Chelsea who called other stores looking for our sons size in Christmas pajamas that I was trying to get matching. She went above and beyond even though there was a line of customers. Thanks Old NAVY tanger for being my favorite location.”

“Rather than go with the big box tuxedo rental (Black Tux, Men’s Warehouse, etc), I decided to go to Joseph Orlando for my and my groomsmen’s wedding suits and we could not have been happier! From the very beginning, Joseph Orlando was receptive to the idea and worked through the different options and the best way to get us all measured and tailored so we were looking sharp. He even worked with multiple members of the wedding party that lived half the country away to ensure they got a perfect suit for our big day. I can’t thank him and the store enough, they were great to work with and we all ended up with a great looking new suit rather than the sloppy rentals from the big box stores. “I love the nerdy pictures like the classic Sonic and Super Mario Bros canvases in the housewares. The kitchenware offerings were also tempting. There was a lemon shaped tea strainer which was adorable. I don't think about this place often, but when I do, I'm pleasantly surprised by what I see. It's a little hidden treasure with a bit of everything.”
“One of my favorite places to go for clothing. They have a great variety of women's workwear and everyday clothing that lasts well, is comfortable, looks great and has ample pockets. Costs a little more but well worth it and they have great sales.”

“My "Goto Boutique" in Pittsburgh!! I live in Los Angeles CA but I have family in Pittsburgh and whenever we travel there I must go to this amazing place . I have found pretty much all my favorite things in this place. Great customer service and what I personally appreciate most is the "honest" opinion of the owner . She will def tell you if something doesn't look good and help with finding something suitable. I also think this is a great place to find a gift for your best friend ! Love this place !!”

“Rally House is a chain that sells merchandise for sports teams (e.g., shirts, hats, mugs, flags, and gloves), and it has stores across the U.S. This particular store is located on the North Shore of Pittsburgh. My father-in-law wanted a particular Steelers jersey. This jersey was sold out at competing businesses, but this Rally House had it in stock for the usual price. I ordered the jersey through their website, and a store employee soon shipped it through USPS Ground Advantage. The next day, the USPS delivered the package to me. The store employee had packed the correct product and the correct size. My father-in-law enjoys this jersey very much. I feel thankful that this store sold it to me. Please note that I have not visited this store in-person recently, so I do not know how the employees communicate.”
