I've been banking with 1st Commonwealth bank for over 20 years, we have always had excellent service until today my wife was having trouble with her card so she stopped by the Southtown plaza branch and the teller was incredibly rude. I would beware of going to the Southtown plaza branch. We won't be.

If you like Western dated times banking, and very poor, out of date practices of banking. Bank with them. Nothing is convenient, secure, and very very behind times. All of these banks make a ton of mistakes, losing money, getting more money. Go to pnc and you'll be appreciated, updated with times.

I love our bank. We have been with First Commonweaht bank for many years. We recently move to another state but were assured we could keep our accounts open with them without any additional fees attached. We were very happy to hear that. We have had some issues with companies trying to remove funds illegally from our account and they work with us on those matters. We are able to deposit checks online and have them put into our accounts within 1-2 business days. Any time we have an issue they are patient with us and help us in any way they can. The only downfall is we haven't been able to get a loan we have applied to as we also have a line of credit with them and our payments are automatically paid on time, so we aren't sure why that is. But overall, we do love our bank and the tellers in the Oakland Avenue Office! We just miss seeing them in person these days...

Went to deposit money for our business account on June 4th around 3-330pm and the teller with dark hair has the worst attitude and was not friendly, wouldn't let us make our deposit with the coin bags they gave to us and said we needed to have an agreement exchange. (She wouldn't even look up our account) We been with first commonwealth for years and never once had conflict with any other first commonwealth. I will also add that we called other first commonwealth after this experience if we had to have some agreement and if anything change with policy the past month. All the other locations we spoke said absolutely not and we just had a teller that probably didn't want to do their job right!

This is the absolute worst possible choice for banking. The latest any are open WAS 6 pm. Now because of coronavirus they can't even keep the drive thru open past 5 so that people can deposit their paychecks? On top of that, taking a photo or using the ATM isn't an option because I'd be lucky to get my money by Tuesday. Overall, they will do whatever possible to make your life difficult. Will be closing my account tomorrow.

This bank does not back you up if someone steals money from your account. I had over 50$ stolen after a purchase at Walmart. Everytime I called, they didn't have an answer for me. The last time I talked to a woman about the "evidence" they said they will provide if you call them as to why they found there to be "no error" on my card. They blame you and then promise to call you back, but never do. They ignore your Emails and have such poor customer service that I am taking my money elsewhere.
