John from the plumbing department was extremely rude to me, not only did he yell at me for not putting back 3 items from the hooks than he called me a idiot. Also he refused to give me his name. I think the fella isn't supposed to be in customer service.

Still awful. Only one self checkout lane working. Needs new management. Not sure why HD doesn't do anything to improve this store.

Horrible service, rarely pick up the phone, and when they do they just hang up on you. Staff acts as if they are doing you the greatest favor when they answer a question. We are the customers and we when we buy things we are contributing to the business. It's sad how badly trained is the staff. I try to avoid shopping there as much as possible.

Man this place never recovered fro mother pandemic. No one here knows what they're talking about. I mean, that staff is just nothing at all like who was here before. The most aggravating thing is just how under stocked they always are. Seriously every time I come here, there's something they're out of or short of.

This place wouldn't be in business if it wasn't the only one in the city. When you go to a Home Depot or Lowe's in the suburbs, employees come to you and ask if you need help. In East Liberty you can't find anyone and when you do they walk right past you without making eye contact. You have to go right up to them and ask for help, if you can find them. And maybe, just maybe, they know what they're talking about.

Shout out to the two LADIES in the parking lot who offered to help me load the carpet cleaner I rented into my car and to all the grown men who just kept walking. This 5 star reviews is for you, ladies. I see you

When I’m asked a sales associate for tarragon the response was I’m too busy to read labels. When the drainage dish I was buying had no barcode and none of the products had a barcode I was told go back and take a picture of the SKU. Geez I didn’t realize that I was an employee there. Customer service is atrocious. Buy somewhere else.

We recently bought a Weber grill from Home Depot. We asked for the grill to be delivered and we were beyond impressed with the professionalism shown by Dorn and Frank! The delivery was on time, Dorn called ahead to make sure we knew they were on their way, and great care was taken during the actual delivery! These two employees went above and beyond! So happy we purchased our grill from the East Liberty Home Depot! Couldn't be more pleased with our experience!

Excellent selection of flo we er and vegetable plants- even artichokes! Prices on things like bags of soil are high. We'll go back for fall plantings too.

Awful place. Many of the difficulties at this location derive from Home Depot more broadly (awful company) but this store is unusually bad even for Home Depot when it comes to customer service, doing something as basic as getting orders right, offering redress for errors that the store itself makes, et cetera. There are some nice and competent people who work here (I've gotten to know them) but the store itself is pretty hopeless. Also, one word of advice for anyone remodeling: DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Well, it's a hit and miss (mostly the latter). Most of the employees are clueless. -- Maintaining their ego and not wanting to admit their ignorance will have a lasting, perhaps negative, impact on customers' decisions for their living space. Despite this, I gave this Home Depot three stars because (1) the things that we need are in stock, and (2) there is one individual who is kind, knows what he is talking about, and has experience in his specialty. Other than that, I recommend only going to this Home Depot to buy stuff that you know and need. Don't ask the employees for advice.

Waited in excess of 20 minutes to have wood cut. Had to hunt down an employee twice for help. They called for an employee capable twice but no one ever showed up to assist. Wound up leaving without any wood, wasted trip.

I don't get why they have so many employees but refuse to help customers! First off, they canceled my online order for pickup and there's nothing they can do. So I have to find things at the store, which totally wasted time! Their inventory is all over the place and then I need help to find stuff. One staff kept me waiting for over 10-15 minutes, and then told me that she cannot help me because she was "assisting" other customers. And she pointed out the another man could offer help. Then the man gave a huge attitude and said that he cannot help me because he was "assisting" other customers as well while simply playing with his phone. WTF. Those people are super rude and unhelpful.
