An extremely disappointing customer service experience this morning. The young lady working the morning shift in the print department was rude and dismissive to all the customers either picking/printing and returning Amazon packages. Granted it is understaffed and can be overwhelming, but it is unforgivable to speak to a senior citizen the way you did.An elderly gentleman tried to send a document online to be printed. He sent the file, but not the order. The Staples employee was sarcastic and snarky when explaining the mishap. All he wanted was a little help. While his order was taken, your response was mean and degrading, making him feel like an inconvenience.While all of this was going on, the returns line is 6-7 deep. Her rude response to the crowd was “The rest of you will just have to wait.” A couple of minutes later two other employees came over, pleasantly picking up the slack.Staples…please take this young lady off your front line and give her some training- sensitivity training and customer service training.

Nice store and friendly people. Prices are fair as well. Service dogs only! Bravo!Now only if supermarkets would do the same thing....RI legislation sucks ... they won't do anything about animals in shopping carts where people put their food.

The Store has really taken a turn for the worst with this new round of managers and employees. It is not a welcoming atmosphere, there is trash all around the store. I don't feel like being talked down too about shipping. The wait for all the shipping services was very long. They need better printers and more people for one corner of the store. Or allocate an entire person to all the shipping things. The amazon returns, happy returns, express returns, ups, usps. It's crazy. The Postal shipping is next to a customer accessible counter and is not secure and safe. I know there were good people here and now they are all gone and replaced by more monotone, bland, and equally beaten down and tired people.

Had such a wonderful experience here a few days ago. Brought in these oddly sized picture frames I needed my seating charts for. Natalia was up for the challenge. I emailed her my document, she then took the time to have me review names/spelling, she fixed the alignment of my columns, and find the right fit and format for these frames. During all of this, she was intermittently helping others, and the other two girls were slammed as well. Amongst their counter, they also were helping/answering endless questions for the customers in the self serve area. Worth the wait.

This review is for computer repair offered at their tech counter.I brought an older Dell desktop tower in to have a new hard drive installed and it has been a disaster.First they spent over one hour assessing the problem which I already told them was a failed hard drive. Then they tried to sell me a 4 Tb drive which was way too powerful for that old machine. The fan and motherboard wouldn’t support it. I finally got them to install a 1 tb drive as requested, paid for the drive and the installation and was told it would be like a brand new computer with Windows 11 on it and take 4 days.5 days later I hadn’t heard and called, was told it would be one more day.Didn’t hear from them and called two days later and now was told they needed to charge me an extra $100 for a windows key number.Told them no more delays or unexpected charges, I will pick it up. Still waiting for them to call to say it’s back together and I can pick it up.Going on 10 days all for nothing!

We came here to return something by ups. I've been here many times from making a purchase to shredding services. The store has good deals and variety and many services, including print and lamination. I found the prices are generally good and below comparable stores. My mother needed help emailing labels so they could print them out and they were helpful and patient. Good service and management in general.

I entered the store to use the printing services and the desktop computer. As I begin to sit, the chair rolled from under me and I fell to the ground. Not one employee came over to check on me!!

I can't say enough great things about the help I received at this location. I was creating a Celebration of Life collage on a 24×36 print, which seemed daunting to me as I had a mix of digital pictures and original photographs.1st David walked me through how it could happen and explained what to return to the store with. When David's shift ended, he made sure his colleague Randall knew I would be returning.Randall was just so kind, patient, and professional. I have a gorgeous print filled with beautiful memories of my dad. I can't express enough gratitude for his efforts to create the stunning end product.

I tend to find that Staples is less and less relevant in today's marketplace. Prices are not competitive and sales help is poorly trained and could care less about you being in the store. In last visit there were so many out of stock items I just went home and ordered them from Amazon.

If I could give this store 10 stars I would. Justin from printing services is a life saver! He went above and beyond to help me as I needed help printing my resume. He helped pick out the right paper and even gave me words of encouragement. I cannot thank him enough.. I even feel better going into my interview thanks to him and his staff ! So thank you Justin for making me have the best experience and highly satisfied service :)

My printer died. I did research online about new printers. I decided on a printer. Unfortunately, I had 3 cartridges of ink from the old printer. They agreed to give me a credit for the 2 cartridges that had not expired. Marni helped me with the return and also helped me with the purchase of my new printer. She was so informative in the few minutes I spent with her. She helped me download the new Staples app and set up my protection plan. I am so glad I decided to go the the Staples store in Smithfield. You rarely get customer service like I experienced today.

I just had a terrific customer service experience with Keith here at this Staples store. Seems like a simple matter but if you've ever looked at the wall of printer ink cartridges it can be overwhelming! Fortunately, here at this Staples they have a guy named Keith! Additionally, I found everyone else in the store to be extremely helpful. The store itself was very clean well organized and in great working order.

Went in for just a couple of prints and some other items, they staff was amazing. Very attentive and helpful. Sebastián checked me out and he was informative, helpful and patient. I walked out of there feeling greatful for a pleasant experience!

This place is absolutely terrible. I would never come here again. Stopped to make copies of about four or five pages and the rude woman at copy center saying it’s gonna take 15 to 20 minutes to make simple copies. Completely unacceptable. The managers response, “itis what it is“.

Nicely organized store. I found what I was looking for. At checkout there was a price discrepancy and the clerk took care of it for me. No hassle.
