25 Spray Rock Rd, Westerly“What a lovely place to spend the new year. The service was attentive and friendly, every detail was attended to, and the feel was relaxing and calm. You cannot beat the scenery, from every window and when you step out for a walk along the coast. The details were completely attended to…amazing waterfall shower, delicious chocolate at turn down, a pantry in the hallway filled with snacks and a coffee machine, and delicious food.”

10 Wagner Rd, Westerly“The Mrs. and I spent an August week at the Inn. It is a special property that I've seen go through decades of evolution which continues to this day. The new owners have paid a lot of attention to decor, atmosphere and serving guests. The property is charming with outdoor fire pits, Adirondack chairs and hammocks in a variety of quiet places for reading, sunning or anything else.
Our room (in the Barn) was small and suffered from high humidity that was hardly remedied by a portable hall dehumidifier. An AC unit was installed in a hallway window the day before we checked out. I expect it will have a positive influence.
Our smaall room lacked chairs - just two good-sized square cushion seats. The dank smell of moisture was continuous despite a working AC unit. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfy. Larger rooms with more ameniites (fire place/balcony, etc.) are available.
Staff around the Inn were all polite and helpful, setting out a reasonable and free continental breakast every moring and answering all varieties of questions. Laid back as much as the Inn is, the staff were stretched between manning the front desk and managing the dining room in the mornings.
Restaurant menu items are varied and well prepared. Delicious fish dishes led to a fine dining experience at reasonable pricing. Servers were very attentive as well.
I had my own transportation but can assure you the private shuttle service from the Inn to the private Shelter Harbor Beach is worth a lot, if that's something you value.
Room rental rates are very competitive among like shore lodging establishments. It's a good choice if you're up for a unique property in a great part of Rhode Island.”
“Al at the front desk is awesome, very friendly, very accomodating! Room was not fancy but very clean, plenty of towels and the constant sounds of the ocean are very relaxing. Downtown Westerly and Watch Hill are closeby.”
“The Ocean View Hotel is a night away worth taken, falling asleep while listening to the waves crashing, late night walk down the ri shore with your soalmate and its not possable with out the wonderful staff keeping a friendly, and safe environment, wheather with you family or your bebo this place is super duper perfecto.”
“We stayed at Watch Hill while attending a wedding at Ocean House. Everything was lovely, from start to finish. All the amenities and staff courtesies provided by Ocean House at half the cost - though both are quite pricey. Watch Hill is operated like a set of condo rentals, with little on-site staffing, but there is a small reception area with breakfast and evening snacks which we appreciated, and the Ocean House staff could not have been more accommodating in transporting us between the two properties (just a 2-3 block walk up/down a hill) and attending to our needs.”

The only thing the room did not have that I needed was a blow dryer, and the girl at Check in ( Melissa ) was pleasant and helpful…not put out when I asked for one.Great experienceNearby activities: The Windjammer bar is not far from there if you are up for a drink and done dancing…and there is are many great places to eat in town”

65 Atlantic Ave, Westerly“We stayed for a few days, and nobody came clan the room, just we asked for clean towels !!!
Service compared to price, it's terrible !
This place has excellent location, but it's almost just this.”
“Very nice place with clean rooms and polite staff ready to help and make sure that you have what you need. The room has good bedding and linens and fridge. The pool is clean and a nice size (shaped like a fish!). They make an effort to provide a good experience. It’s nicely situated near Mystic without the higher prices.”
“The Hotel Maria is a beautiful hotel right across from the ocean, so it's a super easy walk across the street to a pristine beach! The hotel allows guests to check out really comfortable beach chairs and towels to use for the day, so no need to lug additional beach gear on vacation. The beach did get pretty crowded on weekend days and I think some non-hotel guests were encroaching on the private beach, which is adjacent to a public-access beach. We were there over Labor Day weekend 2023.My family and I stayed in a suite at the back of the hotel with an awesome ocean view from the balcony. We could also see the view of the bay in the other direction. Guest service was excellent and the onsite restaurant was delicious. I liked the guest snack bar, which even included sparkling wine upon request.I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Hotel Maria! As an EV (Tesla) owner, my only complaint is that when the hotel restaurant and parking lot got really crowded on weekend nights, non-EVs often parked in the one spot clearly marked as reserved for EVs—next to the Tesla destination charger (also a great feature of the hotel).I'd recommend that the hotel valets not park non-EVs in this spot (if they're doing that?) and that the hotel invest in at least one more Tesla charger, as I wasn't the only Tesla driver there during my stay. It wasn't too big of an issue, as I was able to charge enough when needed, but always frustrating when non-EVs park where they shouldn't.”
