I usually have a good experience. I just wish they'd call or text the number on file as notification for online pick-ups... My item was recently cancelled and I didn't get text notification which is my preferred contact ??♀️

I purchased a apple gift card for my daughter and it was not activated or it was but the gc and the sleeve had different serial numbers. After spending hrs in the store trying to get this resolved. I was told they could not do anything and I needed to call their corporate # which I did was transfered to 6 different people and the last representative told them to replace the gc but they refused and said it was apples problem. Apple said this isn't the 1st complaint they have gotten with gc purchases from bestbuy. My recommendation is to shop somewhere else if you are trying to purchase any gift cards, because this is not the 1st time I have had issues with buying a gift card from the harbison bestbuy. Now I'm 1 less gift and hundreds of dollars down the drain. Thanks to them. Great way to spend the holidays!

Very disappointed. Almost nothing in the store has a price tag and even when it does, it is wrong. Went into buy a headset, and they had an Arctis Nova Pro 7 Wireless for $230. The product rang up at $309. Associate told me to go take a picture of the tag. I did. He didn't believe me. I had to go show him. Proceeded to tell his manager, and they blew me off for 15 minutes. Cashiers kept shuffling me from register to register. Another 15 minutes went by. They come back and tell me its the wrong item, despite the fact there were 4 right behind in the same spot. Manager finally comes over, after 30 minutes and told me they wont' match the price. Cashier tells me he can give me the wired version. He brings the wired version and it doesn't have noise cancelling on it. So I walked out with a lesser model. There were 0 price tags over there for $300. Wasted half an hour of my life. Don't shop here unless you have an unlimited budget, you don't know what you're getting or what you're paying.

I told the young man at the door exactly what I was looking for, and sure enough, he took right over and sold me exactly what I DIDN'T WANT!!And when I got home I was highly upset because I went early to avoid traffic, needless to say, his great service cost me a hour and a half in traffic that afternoon!! WON'T BE BACK!!

Went to the Columbian location shopping on Black Friday for a TV. Had to wait a bit because the store was a little busy and sales associate were scarce. I finally got assistant from Danny. He was very helpful and attentive the entire time. Had an issue with my card. Danny helped to get that figured out and was very patient with me. Once I finished my purchase he made sure I got my TV loaded and secured on the truck. I must say I received top notch service while at the store and a very positive shopping experience thanks to the awesome customer service I received from him. Make sure you ask for Danny when you visit the Columbian Best Buy!!!

After years of ineffective online technical support , I'm now convinced that technical support with a "real" person is best. My recent fantastic experience with the Best Buy Geek Squad technician Chris at the Best Buy on Harbison in Columbia SC is a perfect example. I needed to update the firmware on my Nikon P1000 camera and Nikon technical assistance was no help ! So I decided to see if the Geek squad could assist me. Promptly after arriving for my appointment Chris worked with me ,and solved the problem !! It was "a breath of fresh air" to work with someone who is patient, skilled and knows how to treat customers right !!!Thanks Chris and the Best Buy Geek Squad !!

Jeremiah greeted us at the door with so much kindness and then directed us exactly where we needed to go. When we checked out he also helped and just had the best customer service. He made our shopping experience one of the easiest and nicest times I've had at this location.

5 Stars for Nathan. He was very cordial and very informative, hehelped us with Range Hoods. And though ours required custom size he was able to refer us to someone that could help with the custom job. Way to go Nathan keep up the great customer service. ?

Best Best Buy in the area. There are a few of them around here, but this is the only one that has the Magnolia Room. Ask for Nathan Schaeffer, he knows his stuff, and will do his best to hook you up. He found me 2 pairs of ceiling speakers, 8" drivers, for $600, normal price $2000! What more could you ask for?

I would not recommend recycling electronics at Best Buy! You can’t talk to a physical person at this location so you are sent to a general call line. We called yesterday to get details on recycling and went though our items to see if they would qualify or not. They told us which items would qualify so we went in and paid the fee and as we were going through the process they would not accept an item because it “had a few cobwebs” None of this was explained to us even taking the initiative to call ahead to ensure we were doing everything properly. It was a wasted trip when we are moving and on a very tight timeline. Just felt it was the right thing to do to warn others it seems items must be in perfect condition if you plan to recycle electronics - I would select a different electronic recycling program.

I bought a washer and dryer three weeks ago. I’ve scheduled the delivery four times now. Every time I get the confirmation text and email for delivery date, I get another one about three hours later or the next day saying that I need to schedule the delivery. I’ve had to take off work for 9/1 delivery and now it’s unavailable again. I have called several times and I just want to cancel it at this point but I can’t get ahold of anyone to see what is going on!!!

Yeah.... so apparently you only get Best Buy Certificates when you use your Best Buy Credit Card that charges 26% interest. That's kinda the last straw for the last true electronics store. The internet didn't kill you, the mediocre customer service, long waits just to buy a couple things, and selling middle of the road products killed Best Buy. Walk into this store anytime of day and there will be one person up front (maybe) ringing people out, but 4 standing around. Maybe they are working, but come help this one employee drowning in customers......
