I would only buy from this company in person. Its online store is unreliable at best and is run by incompetence. They list items as being in stock and they are not. They will not contact you to let you know if your items are on backorder to give the buyer an option to cancel their order. They have a very strict and basically not existing refund policy. So, even if they falsely advertise that they have an item in stock, they will take your money, and make you wait until they receive another shipment of that item. That may not be an issue if the item comes within a few days. However, it is my experience that it can take up to two months or more for them to receive items from their distributor. Let me reiterate. These are items that are listed as in stock. So I can only imagine how long it will take to receive a custom item. They have poor business practices in which they put their bottom line ahead of customer service. I cannot in good faith support this company as their business practice is one that perpetuates the stigma of poor service from minority-owned companies. Continued patronage would only support this stereotype and make it harder for legitimate hardworking minority-owned businesses to flourish in this harsh marketplace.

I ordered a line jacket from this location and I am in Indianapolis… I had not received my order that was placed on Etsy yet… so I called them and they were excellent…. They got my order right out and the professional attitudes were very much appreciated….

I contacted Need Nalia last Saturday about an order I needed ASAP. Need Nalia provided excellent customer service! I contacted them about the order that I needed to have by this Saturday. They guaranteed I would have the items and they provided an upgrade at no additional cost! That’s service above and beyond expectations so thank you so much, Need Nalia!

I would never step foot back in this establishment. The young girl that was working there had a disgusting attitude and not helpful at all! Just disgusting. The store barely had anything in there. You could tell she wanted to leave. She even closed the shop early almost two hours early and I watched as another customer pulled up evidently needing assistance but she still shut the light off and closed the store on the customer. Don't even waste your time on this shop. I was able to go to another store location and got BETTER SERVICE AND BETTER ITEMS ON HAND. The young girl working needs to be FIRED. This is why it's hard to support black owned businesses when you gotta deal with people with shitty a** service like that. I'm so glad no one from my Greek organization acts the way she does-disgusting service with barely any products smh. Never again

I ordered 2 Zeta’s watchbands and 8 weeks later I am still waiting for them to arrived. Instead of answering my email, they ignore it and update their website with loud yellow highlighter statement about short staffed and anestimated time line. My money was deducted from my account the same day!! Please do better about your delivery/shipping policy. If you are upfront about timeline and transparent about the process, I can work with you but this is crazy. My last time making an order.

I ordered a neo package from this company. The package came damaged when delivered. Box as well as the merchandise on the inside. I immediately rejected the package from the carrier and advised to return to sender. I wrote the company explaining what was going on, along with photos as proof and asked for a refund OR for the merchandise to be replaced and did not get good service. I sent the merchandise back. So, I am now without money AND merchandise. Stay away from this company as they do not provide customer service or try to resolve issues with paying customers.

I just left the store, and the young lady working there was unpleasant and provided poor customer service. I'm not Greek, but I was shopping for my niece. I returned all of my belongings and exited the business. I will not be returning.

I have so many tabs open on my laptop for Need Nalia but it just so happens before I could decide on an online purchase I happened to be in town to see my in-laws. I came by and I'm glad I did because a few of the items in my online cart were in store so I was able to get them and avoid paying shipping. I am a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. so I made a bee line to the first item of royal blue and gold I see lol. Tshirts on hand was a bit disappointing as there were only one or two sizes of different shirts so my plans of getting matching shirts for me and my legacy soror didn't happen so after leaving I just ordered online for it to be shipped to her house. I purchased a dope lightweight bomber jacket but just like the shirts there were only two sizes available. But it's a small store with I'm guessing a popular online presence so most of their inventory may go to that. I'm satisfied with the three shirts, jacket, cardigan, lanyard, and umbrella I purchased. When I'm back in town later I'll stop by to see what new ideas may be available for the spring season. The young man that was there to assist although busy with orders in the back was very helpful with all the product questions I had. I window shopped for my husband but not much for Kappas were in stock so I will keep those tabs open on my computer. It is nice to see a BGLO store on the northeast side look forward to more original items.

The Satin Jacket runs small. I called and there was no accommodations made by the owner. They said there was nothing they could do because of covid. There's always SOMETHING you can do as a business owner, in my opinion!

GREAT products!! I have ordered from the store several times and truly understand the shipping policy, but I believe the shipping takes too long for me. This is just an opinion and no reflection on the business, but if you process orders in 24 hours and collect payment. There should be a shorter window for shipping than 7-10, business day. The payment was collected the same day you ordered and almost two weeks later you haven't received your product. If I am ever in the Columbia area, I would instead go by the store. I will continue to support the business!

I believe this is a solid store. They have Nalia for the entire Divine Nine to include paraphernalia for OES and Masons. It impacts me because I'm an Iota and there's limited items for us. I don't hold this against them because we are a smaller organization therefore, supply and demand has to be taken into account. The floor is open and there's no customer service team at the front for the most part until you're ready to ring up. This can be both good and bad as a customer. It gives you peace of mind to shop quietly. But at the same time, if you need help, it's uncomfortable to lean in the office where excess inventory is located to ask for help. It's a catch 22 but I can't lie at the fact that I like peacefully shopping. I've met the cashier twice in 5 visits (hence why I waited to make the review) and in those 2 encounters, they were kind and to the point about what was available which I appreciate personally. Overall, I'd recommend heading here if you are in any organization except Iota unless you're looking for the basics (a fraternity tshirt, notepad, or maybe a paddle). However, I will disclaim that I didn't ask if they make specialized orders. Next time I go back, I will. But like I said earlier, I go quarterly in hopes there is more on display for my fraternity.
