Great selection of pet food and treats and for the cat lovers they have that covered. It's a 30 minute drive for us but well worth it .We'll be going back a couple times a month

Update: Today my husband and I went back. My husband noticed upon arrival that there was a sign today that display all sales are final on clearance items, which is great. We spoke with the manager, Jackie, who was very pleasant and agreed that the items were incorrect that were in the box. She opened the other clearance box and matched up the pieces and swapped our two incorrect pieces. Overall, while the experience didn’t turn out great the manager took her time to make it right and we would go back.I purchased a ferret cage on today, Friday, December 1st, 2023 that was on clearance. I had excellent customer service during my visit by the way. I got home and was assembling the cage and we had two duplicate pieces that connected to the base. Basically two females and was unable to insert the pieces. I immediately contacted the store and explained and was told to bring it back and if they couldn’t figure out anything they would exchange or issue a refund by an associate. Keep in mind it probably hadn’t been an hour that had passed. We arrived at the store, I demonstrated and an associate tried to assemble as well and the issue was confirmed. She stated, “it looks like the manufacturer screwed you”. Also, she apologized and said that all sales are final and when I reiterated what the associate stated, she said she was sorry but that was incorrect and she was just an associate. She did tell us that we could come back tomorrow and speak to the manager and see what she is willing to do. The associates were again very kind but that was extremely poor business practice. I will follow up tomorrow with what occurs.

I have a business complaint about about poor business practice of this company. I purchased a Beta Filye5 volcano from this store online 6 days ago. I attempted to return the product and the clerk said they can only issue a store credit. My concern is that I provided my original receipt and the clerk and manager are not honoring their return policy. I am going to file a complaint with the BBB and the Chamber of Commerce. We will never buy another from this company again. The items were for science projects.Your customer service number is automated message. Your company did not respond to my email requesting a refund and the invoice was attached. You all demonstrate awful business ethics.

I absolutely love having Petco. In DTLA. It’s in a Perfect location. Also all the Teamworkers are all so helpful & so nice! Nice to have very informative workers at your store who really listens to you & cares about your Pets.Zola (Female) is in 1st pic & Ziggy (Male) is in 2nd pic on hammock. They love Wholeheart all stages by land & sea can food.? ??

Yesterday I took my golden retriever in for a much needed bath as she had rolled in p**** One of your employees, Christine was PHENOMENAL. Her sweet demeanor, and amazing customer service went above & beyond the call of duty! She made my whole experience, and day wonderful! Thank you again Christine! You are an amazing woman!

I have three dogs, not small dogs..so I take them here for baths. It makes it so easier then putting them in the bath tub. They provide the shampoo and towels. I will be returning to wash my dogs again. And the staff are great as well. Very friendly and helpful.

Best place in Columbia to get top products for your pet. We love our babies like our children. And, only buy from pet supermarket. They genuinely care for their animals. Unlike petsmart. We purchased an tarantula from them that was greatly malnourished. If you want to feed, and give your animals top rate you go to Pet supermarket. They even can tell you what the breed of animal you have should be eating. Anyway I cannot say enough good about the staff, or the animals and products from this store. A+++

I really like this store because I like supporting local and/or small businesses. I literally drive out of my way to come every week. The customer service is hit or miss depending on who is working for the day. But, it’s not bad enough to make me not shop here, especially because some of the employees are so nice!! While others just act like they don’t see you at the register waiting. But I digress. Let’s talk about today. Today was a day. So I go to get dog food, and I realize that I left my wallet at home. No big deal, they take Apple Pay. So I grab the dog food cans that I want to buy and the machine wasn’t working, and I couldn’t use my Apple Pay—that’s super annoying ?. The cashiers were like “that thing is hit or miss! It literally just worked for someone else.” WHAT. Hit or miss?! Really! So then one cashier suggested ordering online and choosing in store pickup. I was like, okay, that works! It took literally forever to order online (felt like 10 mins, but maybe was like 5-7 mins!), but the website wouldn’t work to check me out. So I’m showing the cashier my phone. Saying hey this isn’t working! One, they are saying the food I have in my hand isn’t in stock, so I even change the food choice and it won’t let me checkout. Omg. Super annoying! One cashier said, “man that sucks” and another cashier said, “I don’t know why our website isn’t working.” So GREAT! You have a hit or miss with Apple Pay and the website doesn’t work. And all I get is a nonchalant “that sucks.” Ugh so very frustrating!! Why offer Apple Pay if it’s hit or miss? And WHY for Pete’s sake doesn’t the website work. Please fix this. That’ll be 2 stars because “that sucks.”

Very rude staff I understand there are policies that exist, but why get angry at someone asking a question when they don't know the policy? No offer of other options, apologies, help etc. just rude communication to make me feel like I had done something wrong. I didn't want to finish my purchase, truly I even said I would go somewhere else as I walked out. Then, I calmed down came back in and got what I needed to get. When checking out I found it really odd that the same employee who was rude and unapologetic made mention to her peer of that I spend a large amount each time I come in. So you recognize I come here as a regular customer, yet the first time I have a question you are rude to me? We are all human and have bad days, but the overall experience was not good. After her rudeness to me she seemed bothered that I wasn't smiley at checkout while spending another "large amount." Btw- question was about doordash return of a $12 item. I asked if I could either return it or get store credit for the purchase I was about to make. Doordash was great and actually gave me $20 credit for this and apologized about the stores behavior over a return.
